This was absolutely delicious I ate this in like 10 minutes lol. Everything was hot and fresh even my Carmel cake was fresh and warm. It was soo yummy and my tummy I started crying as soon as I took a bite. I live in Decatur but I’m bringing my husband and kids up here soon just to come try this delicious place.

We ate at Boyd’s New Generation on S. Grand today. It was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, the crew was working hard, and on top of everything. I got fried chicken with THREE sides and a dessert. 2 pieces of white meat, mac-n-cheese, greens, spaghetti, and a piece of cake for 11.99! Zach got country fried steak, yams, fries, and mac-n-cheese, and cake. The portions are huge and it literally tasted like it came out of my Grandma’s kitchen. Highly recommend. 10/10 people! I’ll be back, probably tomorrow.

The food was/is always hot and delicious I usually get the veggie plate of mac n cheese, sweet potatoes and either greens or cabbage and cornbread. I’ve also had the baked chicken and smothered pork chops and they’re both juicy and delicious. The staff is always pleasant and since I always drive thru, I am happy to say I have never had to wait long for my food. The food is definitely worth the price I only wish they were open on Sunday

Am traveling from south for work! I have been going to this place every week since I have been in town. The food is always delicious & hot from the stove. The family that runs the business are friendly & they remember repeated clients by heart. The atmosphere is comfortable. The food price is affordable. Best soul food in area by far.
