Food was good, but I wish we were asked if we wanted a dessert. We came inside the restaurant because we saw the board outside with their menu and the desserts looked amazing.

Great little gem down by the river in St. Charles. Their signature burger was really tasty. The portobello mushroom appetizer is huge! It could be a meal in itself. Love sitting outside people watching. Server was top notch too.

Stuffed portobello mushroom, and river cafe burger were excellent, perfect meal for two. Lots of flavor, and juicy. The only negative of our experience was being in a small room with three different tables of loud mouthed hens, trying to talk over each other. We would definitely go back when we are in the area.

This place was amazing! Went for lunch with the family. Got a burger with the lobster bisque soup. The burger was cooked perfectly to order with toasted buns. And the bisque was so creamy! One of the best soups I’ve ever had.

Amy was our server, she was excellent, friendly and attentive. We had mimosas, pork tenderloin sandwich with fries and a California wrap with sweet potato fries, so yummy.

Super cute place with a great atmosphere! The guacamole bites – get them! Very delicious. The fries are the best crinkle cuts I’ve ever had. The BLT was good also!

The food was okay. We had the ribeye with loaded baked potato and Broccoli. Now the highlight was their gooey butter cake.

Nice restaurant in historic Downtown St. Charles. Good Steak Sandwich, good Cesar Salad, good California Wrap, good Sweet Potato Fries, and really good Peach Cobbler. Only okay service as it took over 10 minutes for our waiter to return to take our order and no water refills.

Food was great. Seriously, the food was awesome. The servers were also amazing. However, the creepy busboy with the long socks not leaving us alone & talking to my girlfriend about the way she “gripped the hand rails” & needing to clarify the term “jerk off” as he referred to “jerking off” & needed clarification differentiating the two was a deal breaker. I couldn’t imagine coming back here despite the great food and service. That guy is an absolute creep who shouldn’t be working in any form of customer service position. I mean seriously, he wouldn’t leave my girlfriend alone. Talking to her every chance he got. It was creepy & made us both uncomfortable. & I would hope he loses his job because based off the comments of others, this isn’t an isolated incident.

This is the sweetest little place to stop.and eat when visiting st.. charles. The lobster bisque soup is the best! Debbie is such a fun person. We loved talking with her. 3.5 hour day trip back to St. Charles for us will be well worth the trip for the lobster bisque.
