I’m giving the food 3 stars because the scallops are and shrimp are pretty good…but the tall woman with short hair cut needs to learn some customer service edicate ..I figured a few times she was having a bad day and gave her the benefit of the doubt but when I patronize a business I’d like common courtesy..either she’s just ignorant or doesn’t know any better…fyi..while they were closed down for a year I found quite a few good places to purchase seafood so I will no longer patronize Barlows..

The lady and her daughter are so very nice and welcoming.. The food is mouth watering. And the fish is always fresh like they just got it from the ocean, it is cooked to order and every single item is amazingly delicious please try you Will not be disappointed trust me. This is absolutely the worst seafood we every had. My husband went today for our lunch he got the Dolphin meal the flounder was burnt like it was cooked twice shrimp dry and overcooked and instead of crab cakes we got clam. Do no recommend this place at all. Prices way to highfor the quality of their food.

I’m going 3 stars this time around. I generally like this place. This time not so much. I ordered fried cod. Now, my idea of cod is a thick white fish, flaky and mild. Usually used for fish & chips. This cod was flat, darker in color (brownish pink) and tasted fishy. One piece was actually spoiled. (Very strong taste and odor). I’ve been told when fish is fresh it has no smell. Right now my car smells like an old fishing boat. I’m disappointed, but I will return. I’ve had plenty from these folks and its generally very good. I guess I was “the catch of the day” today.

Moderate selection of fresh seafood, raw or cooked to order. Fried platters are quickly prepared but suggest you call ahead for broiled selections. They offer some nice combination platters of flounder, crab cakes, fish cakes, shrimp, fries, cole slaw, etc. I’ve never been disappointed in their quality or customer service.
