Worst dining experience ever! Finally got the food after about 45 minutes, everything was cold, steak was warm. Had to ask for silverware and napkins, (got napkins and beer my husband ordered after we finished eating.) That was about the same time they brought my baked potato back, supposedly a new potato, because first one was so cold. Then she tells me they are out of butter. Steak had good seasonings, but was like eating leather.

Well the semitruck was having transmission issues so we decided to stop… what seemed to start out as a great place with friendly staff quickly turned into a yuck experience when our food arrived at the table… the blooming onion thing was hard to eat with the over fried top and the semi down bottom. His $30.00 steak looked super amazing but was clearly freezer burnt at some point, that flavor that a bottle of A1 won’t hide. The salmon that I ordered was NOT even salmon and had to be THE most freezer burnt disgusting fish I have EVER encountered. The $10 lobsters that we added were probably THE only part of the $100 meal that was truly worthy of serving to paying customers. They are lucky that i ran to the restroom during the time the check was brought to the table and paid by my lovely, “don’t make waves” of a trucker love, because the management team would have had answered for the garbage that they were serving that day. Poor servers should not have to present food of such poor quality in what seems to be a great steakhouse… back in the day I’m guessing.

Great atmosphere. Good Music. Lovely and nice waitresses. And my wife and I had the best steak in years anywhere around here. I had the porterhouse and my wife had the strip. Both were awsome.

is VERY bad…..got a beer as soon as I sat at the bar. Received a menu and now….. 25 minutes later, I’m still waiting to order. Bartender is too busy with her cell phone to wait on customers. Pretty bad, thought what the heck…the reviews could be wrong…. Guess not!! This place SUCKS!!! Have now been ignored by four “servers” how in the hell does this place stay in business??? Wanted to order some food , but, I would most likely get it in two or three days. If you have any brain power STAY FAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!! (Unless they know you….the mission statement for this place should be .,f the new customers)

Sorry to say i should have checked the reviews! Clue would have been the overwhelming number of bad reviews. All the bad ones i find to be true. Waitress did okay but the food was luke warm at best. For steaks that they somehow cooked in ten minutes came out about room temperature. Plus the ladies bathroom was broken so i had to stand watch while my wife used the mens which actually did not flush either. Plus no paper towels for washing your hands. We chose this place because it was local to the area and sounded good. But unless they get thier act together I see a short future or huge need for new management. In short big waste of $60.

I don’t know what happened to the people that reviewed this place, but I think they reviewed the wrong restaurant! When I was there they brought me a massive and delicious salad in a metal mixing bowl, and this amazingly huge steak that I had to take home because I couldn’t eat it all. The green beans were awesome, just like grandma used to make, and it was one of the most memorable and fantastic dinners I’ve ever had. I send all my friends there who are going to McAlester. Great times! e.z.

We had worked all day moving,not stopping for lunch. So my brother-In-law wanted to treat me and my wife to,what I thought would be the best steak in McAlister…..boy was I wrong!! We walked in and saw “Cash only” but an Atm in back. The girl at the front had to ask, where it was? When we got sat down, there was a t.v. right next to my face…literally! Then the music was so loud, could barely hear what each other were saying. Our appetizers came quick, and were good. The blooming onion however, was not blooming though. It was more like a clump. After the appetizers it took 40 minutes, for our meal to come. After about 30 minutes the waitress did apologize. Said something about problems with the cook. When our meal came my wife’s chicken fajitas only had about 6 pieces of chicken, and not very many vegetables. The lettuce was big hunks instead of shredded. Was little amount for the price. In normal restaurants would of been a half order. Then we ordered porter house steaks, that were really dry. I fed most of it to my dog. We ordered fried and grilled shrimp with our steaks and meal. Three fried was ok, but the grilled wasn’t grilled. Was cold. Like the cook just took out and put on the skewer. It was $100 meal, but not worth $20. What really upset us is the server didn’t offer to give us the appetizers for free, or comp some desserts for the long wait. We will definitely be spreading the word not to waste your money on this place!!!

On March 10, 2017 at 6:00 pm we made the decision to eat at Brangus Steakhouse. It was near our hotel and appeared to be a family establishment- very similar to a Santa Fe Steak House (peanuts on the floor etc….)

Wait time for our dinner was 45 minutes, then would not take credit cards, and was told they had ATM. Then was not given correct change back, we have tried this establishment three different times and we will not try again. Waitress had nothing to do with the service except did not give correct change back.
