Unlike other reviews, we weren’t impressed! Italian beef was average and the prices were very high! $4 for 4 little mozzarella sticks! Wow! Service was good… only reason for 2 stars!

OK, this place is a dive (someone call Guy Fieri), but the food I’ve had here is really good. Known for the Italian Beef sandwich (at least that’s what I know it for) — it’s a pretty awesome sandwich. Get the whole and make 2 meals out of it. I don’t think I’ve had better fried pickles than the ones I tried here. I would recommend everyone stop in for the beef sandwich. Maybe just get it to go. Go Bluejays!

Waitress smoke, they walk back in and don’t wash their hands. Dirty as can be restaurant. Have children help with side chores with unclean hands. Top it off found a .22 shell just laying on the floor by our table. Order an Italian beef and received unflavored meat, with grease as the dipping sauce. This place has definitely changed over the reason and not for the better.

It has been a while since I’ve eaten here, but I have eaten from Brantwood before. From what I remember, I do recall the Italian beef sandwiches being quite tasty. However, every time I’ve visited, the restaurant was unsanitary and messy to one degree or another. The waitresses (and restaurant to a degree) often reeked of cigarette smoke. This would leave me concerned that the food may also be prepared in unsanitary conditions as well. It’s nice to see that the staff has taken the time to make the place nonsmoking (at least going off of a reply to someone else’s review), but this all describes my experiences with Brantwood.

It’s a dive. They can’t cook a pizza to save their life. Regular or deep dish it isn’t worth it. They charcoal burn them. I mean to the point they served it with black crust. Yuck. Lost a star for no quality control with food. However, if you are in the mood for an out of this world beef sandwich-this is your place. I have yet to find any place that can make a beef sandwich you have to eat with a knife and fork. And being the the only place in NWI that can make one hell of a beef sandwich-they gained 3 stars.

Ordered a hot ham and cheese sandwich and my husband ordered a chicken nugget basket. My sandwich was a tiny sandwich I could have made better at home and the chicken strip basket the strips were tiny. We didn’t get full at all and with the kids meal we paid way over than we should have for lunch.

Their Italian beef sandwiches are incredible! Also huge! They have an appetizer (it’s a meal for me) that’s an Italian Beef, chili, Cheddar Cheese fry! It’s amazing!
