Great new concept in the East Quarter of Dallas, lively atmosphere and a good variety of drinks and food. We tried their prime rib, mushrooms, steak fries, and all were yummy. You absolutely must try the beef tataki, it has a kick of spice! The service was great and the managers were present and engaged, we will be back!!

We live in W Plano & like to venture out to try new places based on reviews/research. It’s obviously a hike for us, but my hubby was wanting prime rib & yorkshire pudding (and as he is the only one that cook that, I thought I’d treat him to this dinner). Ambience is a upscale lounge vibe (and yes music was louder than most restaurants-we got there at 6:30p & they raised the level at 7p-but we liked the music being played & it wasn’t annoying to us), service was stellar. Food taste was mediocre.

Amazing steak and service. Wine was great. Everything was amazing. Place had a different feel and vibe w the 2nd floor downtown thing going. Steak was actually much better than Chef Nicks other restaurant Town Hearth. Their steak is too “woodsy” tasting for me. The steak at Brass Ram is more like those at Papas or Nick and Sam’s. Was amazing. Sides great too. Highly recommend

Really nice place. John our server did an exceptional job. You know from the moment you enter this is a high end experience. Treat yourself to an amazing dinner and definitely ask for John. Thank me later.

Great service with great Prime Rib and crab cakes. No complaints at all. Mac n cheese, mushrooms, onion rings and french onion soup were superb

Ok, so the fried onions are the best I’ve ever had, and it’s not close. Hard to distinguish good from great onion rings? Normally I’d say yes, but now I am enlightened. Hate onions? Order them anyway!

Some of the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Every side was outstanding (the mac and cheese was a hit). Bartenders were helpful. I had trouble finding the entrance, which comically added an air of exclusivity to the experience (Nick doesn’t ever do loud, lavish openings and yet his restaurants stay busy, even on weeknights). I’m glad Dallas has Nick Badovinus because he rarely misses.

We had a wonderful evening last night celebrating two birthdays. Nicholette was our waitress, and she couldn’t have been more hospitable, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We all really enjoyed our cocktails — the Rickey is a must try! We had a great wine recommendation from their sommelier, and their wine menu was extensive but not overwhelming. Our steaks were all perfectly cooked and “melt in your mouth,” and my husband noted the mushrooms were a highlight for him. As well, the French onion soup was one of the best we’ve had and packed so much flavor. Our only small complaints were the soup could have been hotter, and the Mac de Blanc could have been creamier. It was a little dry for my personal taste, but the flavor was uniquely good. (You can’t go wrong with Port Salut, Asiago and Parm!)
