Huge amount of Polish and European groceries, sausages, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and prepared food. Was so happy to have been introduced to this place. There was, however, one drawback for me- I’m not Polish and I don’t speak Polish. The younger people that work here speak English, but I encountered the typical Eastern European rudeness from the older workers which I didn’t appreciate. Mind you, I’m Baltic myself, so I know what I’m talking about. One of the other reviewers that wrote in said he got the feeling that he was being discriminated against because of his race. Well, it’s not really that. They pretty much aren’t nice to you if you’re not Polish. And very typical of many Eastern European people. Just plain cranky.

When you need to dash in after a hard day at work and grab a plentiful meal for just eight bucks. The food is well cooked and they have such a variety in a small little space. They have baked chicken, they have chicken wings, they have fish, they have stew, they have stuffed cabbage, they have pierogies and many, many, other delights. They have saved me many times when I hadn’t had time to get home and cook a dinner. And every time was worth it. One of my favorite dishes there is the goulash or beef stew because it takes me back to my childhood growing up in the UK.

Place is always pretty busy, I enjoy soup there, fresh cooked, but I thing I got overcharged for a piece of Salmon, wich BTW was the smallest and very plain, English is very limited there and the hot food area is confusing if you don’t know polish, tip cups every service stop…lol, prices are ok, good variety

I really like this place. The food is tasty and it’s packed will a lot of different types of food to try. I love the hot food section. On the down side, I got charged a credit card transaction fee, and the staff never told me of such surcharge. Last time I was there I spent almost $70. They wound up tacking on an extra $2 for using my card. I don’t know why this bothers me so much but it will probably keep me from coming back.
