Satis is really a welcome addition to the Bloomfield restaurant row. I am chagrined at the realization I missed this gem. Gracious staff, sumptuous food and a sophisticated yet urbane fit for any pallate. The environment is open yet soothing after a long day or commute.

We came in for a late Saturday lunch and just wow. One of the owners was here and greeted us in such a friendly manner. We had a great conversation with him and learned more about him and he provided some great food recommendations.

Half Pan Seared Chicken was delicious and strawberry mixed drink. The only set back is wait time for your food. You have to have good conversation topics to keep you busy .. Appetizers take 35 minutes.

I love the atmosphere and hospitality of this place. The food is delicious and the chef is pretty creative with his combinations. The vibe is laid back, a nice place for an afternoon drink or a date night. I only have 4 stars because they recently changed their overall theme/concept and I need a few more visits there before giving it the full 5 stars. It is a place that keeps you wanting to go back for more!

Very nice decor and atmosphere. The beer was great. I was hoping for a good new dinner spot but this will not be it. We had a burger and pasta. The burger bread was dry and flavorless. Burger was a bit overdone. Mashed potatoes were creamy but bland. I do admit it’s very hard to get fresh or good bread around Bloomfield and Newark these days. The pasta dish tasted similar to pasta with butter and black pepper that is easy to make at home for much less.

This old favorite has been renovated to beyond it’s original beauty. The bar itself is magnificent and the decor of the rest of the dining room is beyond compare! The Chef has managed to find an amazing balance between fine dining and incredible tavern fare. Awesome and interesting appetizers, homemade pasta, burgers, fine seafood and wonderful gourmet entrees . Interesting cocktails and nice selection of wines. You can’t go wrong here!!

Great spot. Meals are consistent and there is quality in multiple dishes I have had. Brought friends, family, and work here – our baby has also tagged along. Atmosphere and environment was loved by all.

Ok I did not eat here so my review is different. I stopped in for the first time and sat at the bar for a few drinks. I was taken back a bit by the fact there were no beers on tap. The bar stools are like high school wood shop metal stools and are not very comfortable. I was in the area with some friends who said let’s get some drinks at the new Bistro in town and then walk over another location for drinks and dinner. I will put it like this. This place the food looked great and the prices of the food for what you were getting seemed fair. (Note we did not eat here.) After having a few mixed drinks, we left. This is not really a hang at the bar for some drinks. The stools are uncomfortable and it is more of a restaurant feel. I will be back to try dinner one day because the menu looked great and the food that was coming out of the kitchen look good as well.

The cheeseburger is one of the best I’ve ever had. Easily as good as my hometown burger. Happy hour from 9-11pm on Friday. Good drinks, and top shelf at lower prices than anywhere else in the area.

I felt it was a little hyped. I live around the corner. Everyone has different preferences with restaurants. I prefer quiet places, and the way the remodeling was done, you can hear everyone’s conversation in the place, due to the acoustics. Food was good. Service was good.
