Our food was wonderful! The service was very good. The atmosphere was great! We came here with the mindset of paying a little extra for fine dining. We got a big city dinner experience in a smaller Midwest city without the 2 hour wait time. Wonderful experience!

Good overall experience for an upscale place to grab a meal. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was unique and tasted good, albeit not mind-blowingly good in my opinion. Recommend getting reservations as it is a popular spot and the wait times are long for those who dont plan ahead on busy weekends.

I normally have a wonderful experience with Brazen: the roasted pork chop w/ risotto they used to serve was phenomenal, the fried chicken is spectacular, their desserts are to die for, the ambiance of the restaurant is second to none in Dubuque & the staff are highly attentive.

Had a great experience at Brazen! The food was excellent, you can tell they put a lot of thought into curating their menu, which changes with the seasons. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes which was very good. My partner had the fried chicken and that was delicious as well, and the portions were very generous for the price. Good cocktails, I ordered the Pomegranate Cosmo and really enjoyed it! Prices were reasonable and service was great too, our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a nice dinner in Dubuque!

Excellent environment, food and service. In a town that is suffering for good food Brazen does an excellent job filling that void. I highly recommend the pork belly on the appetizer menu, I think it’s the best thing we had. The steak was also cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The scallops were excellent as well, although a lighter item the broth it is served in was delicious. The desserts were fantastic as well. A great meal for a date night or special occasion.

We visited from out of town last weekend, had dinner and cocktails there on Friday night and loved it so much we came back again the following night! Fantastic cocktails, great salads, delicious ribeye, fried chicken was great, salads and desserts were also fantastic. Oh and one of the best crab cakes I have ever had too! Also the service was on point. Highly recommend and will be back when we are back in town!
