I wanted to go and have a nice steak and a great time. For starters, it was a nice bar and restaurant, I did my research and it was listed as a top ten places to eat in Waco. I would have to disagree. If you want to go and have a nice drink for a high price, this would be right up your alley. The drinks were good, don’t get me wrong, but that would be the only good thing about this place.

Food was delicious!!! It was technically breakfast however qt the time I ate, it served as brunch. Service was ok. The place was pretty empty when we arrived however took a while for our server to come out. She was also the bartender so she did have aot of work to do. She didn’t get around to refilling our water glasses. Dirty silverware was not cool. We also had to go to the bar flag the server down to pay. And she thought we were new customers. Mayne more help on a Sunday morning would be nice for everyone.

I took my wife and son out for her birthday. We ate outside as the weather was pleasant. Some of the patio furniture is a little lungey for eating but great for sitting back and relaxing with a drink. The only improvement would be to do something with the blank wall in the back, maybe a mural. The drink selections was nice, my wife loved the Steel Rita and the server poured my beer perfectly. The only thing missing is a selection of draft beer. We ordered food, and was warned that the double cut pork chop would take a while (it is about 2 inches thick). I had Pan seared tuna that was cooked perfectly. The chicken nachos for my son were good too. The cream Brule` was not as good as expected, the top did not have that distinctive cracking sound. From the looks of the bar they do have some nice high end liquor but I did not inquire. The bathrooms were very clan and I loved the salt hand wash. While the food is a little bit pricy, I think it is worth it. I will be eating here again.

I have stayed at this hotel several weeks and I have to say, hands down and by far the cleanest and most updated hotel around. However, I’ve got to get on my rant stage for a moment. The restaurant started out very well the first couple of weeks I came here. But here lately, not so much. My go to dish had been the chicken paillard which is awesomeness. The last two times I’ve ordered the dish did not include green apples…To me that’s a big deal. It compliments the dish in a very unique way. Ask the very sweet waitress about it and said she’d check with the kitchen. To my surprise, they in fact had green apples, so therefore I felt confused as to why the menu states green apples, why not include them. One more thing to add. The dish I had just described is priced at 20 bucks on the menu. Got receipt back and it showed 25???? The bartenders don’t seem to help the floor much, more just standing around with their arms folded. We had a table of 9 and that poor little waitress did the best she could.

Super slow service. Thought everyone was on break at the same time as we sat at the table for several minutes. I went and stood in the doorway to the kitchen for almost 2 full minutes before the employee looked up from their phone. Sad thing is they only looked up because the bartender came out of the kitchen. Serves only went down hill from that point. Ultimately decided to eat somewhere else after a couple of drinks.

Really good small restaurant located inside Hotel Indigo in Waco. Very close to Magnolia Silos. The bistro is kind of pricey but worth it. The food was delicious. The fries are unique and spicy. They do offer a kids menu! The wait staff was friendly. They offer a full bar and have TV’s to watch the football game on. Great atmosphere inside this hip and modern hotel.

Went here on our girls weekend and very happy with the food and service. We ate on the patio where we could chat without disturbing others around us.

Service was fine but I got the burger with a side bibb salad and when I got home realized they literally just gave me like 7 pieces of bibb lettuce instead of a smaller version of the bibb salad Wouldn’t be a huge deal if I wasn’t charged $5 for it. Not sure how they felt good boxing that one up lol. Also- burger was cooked correctly but definitely not the best. Maybe their other items are better, though!
