Built first as Evergreens in the 1940’s, Breakers became the local favorite for craft beer and burgers in 2005. Our 2012 remodel allows guests to view pristine Mullett Lake via patio dining. For the summer of 2018, we’ve added a complete pizza menu and prime rib on Saturdays!

We were headed back from the UP and went to Cheboygan for a late lunch, nothing was open so we continued on to stumble on this wonderful restaurant!! I have pinned it bc of how delicious the food was. We got the firey burger and the ahi tuna appetizers and they were both great, cooked perfectly and the service was fast and friendly! We ate on thr patio, but loved the decor inside. A must stop again place for us! Thank you for a good meal

Food was fast, and the drinks were even faster. The servers were extremely polite, jokingly and laughing. Jack took care of me. He knew I needed orange juice. I was having body cramps from being on the water. He hooked me up immediately, will come back again

Delicious! I had the brisket chili, tuna crisps, and peach cider. All were fantastic! I sat outside – inside was quite busy – outside was lovely and quiet on a Monday at 430 when I went. Friendly staff. Good, reasonable prices.

Sorry, this may be an unfair review – more of a heads-up. Posted hours show open to 8:00 PM, but if you arrive after 6:00pm on Sunday, you’ll be turned away! They will be overbooked. Better to head over to Hoppies (we hope…) the 7 of us did – it’s only 10 minutes away.
