Busy on a Sunday morning but not a long wait. Traditional diner food, we ordered pancakes, French toast, Farmer’s Skillet–all tasted great. Service was prompt and friendly. Even a discount for paying with cash.

Please take chislic off the menu. The chunks of meat were still still refrigerator cold in the middle when ordered medium rare, and not even properly browned on the outside… If you can’t do it properly (let alone safely), take it off. Also barely seasoned if at all.

Another breakfast place we like to find. Very popular place, we got there just before a huge wait developed. B&G were ok but not mind blowing. Pancakes and other fare were excellent and just because I am picky about B&G does not mean it was bad. Attached to the bowling alley it is a cozy place and clean. Staff were excellent.

Food was excellent and even though extremely busy the food was flying out of the kitchen! Hats off to this business!

This is my favorite place to have a sit down breakfast in spirit lake. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. It is actually attached to the bowling alley. Tried the farmer’s skillet and was not disappointed. This place has a lot of regulars for good reason.

Not tons of breakfast places in spirit lake, but if you’re looking for cheap eats with solid food check out this place. Country fried steak with eggs hash browns and toast and a side of biscuits amd gravy and oj was around $14. Service was good with the amount of patrons inside and food came out quick. Would definitely recommend this joint over the diner which always seems to be packed

I highly recommend this place! The food is all you want and expect from the best diner in the area. A few things we’ve learned: the best item on the menu (hands down) is the eggs Benedict with a side of bacon, Sundays are extremely busy, so don’t take your kids super hungry (you will not enjoy your time and will disrupt other people’s brunch), know that you will have to wait about 30 to 40mins for your food, and you should show up at 12 at the latest. They close at 1pm. We have three young kids and they also live this spot for breakfast. Definitely recommend!

We chose this place due to the ratings and high remarks on the reviews. We had a party of 9 adults and 4 kids. We walked in and told the waitress how many people she rolled her eyes at us. Then she took a second and said that we cannot sit together. Then I said can you move some tables and she said in a rude voice read the sign “it says do not move tables”. I didn’t know that sign was for the waitstaff too. You would think that most places would be accommodating for large groups Knowing that they are going to be spending about $15 to $20 per adult in at least $10 per child.
