A change in plans led us to Brennan’s for my boyfriend breakfast brunch and we were impressed!!! The service is so fast and professional. They went above and beyond to recognize we were celebrating a birthday and overall were just on top of everything. Our server was so sweet and really contributed to our amazing experience. Food was good, although small plates (to be expected at a place like this). Banana pudding cake was amazingggg. Must try!!!

You must dine here if you go to New Orleans. Bananas Foster was invented at this historic Big Easy restaurant. Tour the house and garden. Many famous people have come through their doors. A truly unique and tasty experience. I highly recommend getting reservations.

This is a superb restaurant, but get a reservation. It is super popular. The food is delicious. Even the brioche bread is excellent. The seafood is so tasty, especially the broiled oysters. The steak medallions are prepared table side and the preparation and presentation was unexpectedly entertaining. I had no idea Bananas Foster originated here so I had to try it and was not disappointed. Again the table side prep was so awesome. Definitely worth getting a reservation.

To start off, this restaurant is gorgeous! The atmosphere is intimate yet lively and all of the staff is friendly, thoughtful, and inviting. My husband and I went there for brunch with no reservation and we had such a wonderful experience that we ended up making reservations for dinner for that same day! Dinner was absolutely phenomenal, I had the Trout Blangé and my husband had the Rabbitt Kottwitz and both were incredibly delicious. Flavors like we’ve never tasted before and a great taste of New Orleans cuisine. Our server Terry was incredible, top tier service, she was friendly, very knowledgeable, and had great recommendations and insight on the food and wine. I also have very complicated soy allergy and she was able to accommodate and recommend plenty of food that was safe for me. If you have a soy allergy this is a great place because most of the menu is soy-free friendly. Terry also made our table side strawberry crepes for dessert and they tasted incredible. Overall amazing dining experience! I can’t wait to go back!

Bananas Foster is a show stopper dessert created at Brennan’s. For my wife and I, a visit to the place where such a classic dessert began is meaningful in a gastronomic sense. I have enjoyed many desserts in my time, but key lime pie and Bananas Foster are at the top of my list. I used to always order key lime pie until I finally found the ultimate to know what the best tastes like. The same theory applied for me with Bananas Foster and the visit to 417 Royal Street in New Orleans’ French Quarter for a $12 order of Bananas Foster would put me in front of a bowl of a heavenly dessert I believed. After the very entertaining presentation by the staff and after the flames, I found Brennan’s Bananas Foster everything I had hoped for in a dessert. I don’t mean to carry on with a review of just one food item at such an incredible restaurant where many items are unbelievable, but I can’t help myself. I want you to have an opportunity to share the great foods of the world as well.

Everything about my group’s experience at Brennan’s was AMAZING!!! I would recommend this to everyone. We told our server we were there for a bachelorette and he made us feel like royalty. He brought a piece of ribbon to dress up the table and put it down on the table like a table runner. We got the Brennan foster banana and ice cream dish so he did the whole display and story for us.

Absolutely phenomenal brunch. Excellent food, libations, ambiance, and service. Reservations required. No parking. One small quibble- we had a 9AM reservation on a Sunday, arrived at 8:45AM and the doors didn’t open until 9:10AM. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying. The steak tartare and breakfast potatoes stood out amongst our excellent dishes. Their Nutty Irishman might be the best iteration of that drink I’ve ever had.

To date Brennan’s is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The gumbo was the best I have ever had, the steak Dianne was so mouth wateringly good, the Irish coffee. All of it. The service was amazing and and I can definitely understand why Brennan’s is a top 50 restaurant in America for 2022. Every dish we had was absolutely amazing and getting the steak Dianne served up at our table was a great experience.

I really enjoyed myself here. My waiter (Kevin) was wonderful as well. He made sure we enjoyed our meal, and just gave an overall great service. We ordered the scallops and they were sooo good and filling. I also ordered the banana foster for dessert. Omg the ice cream was better than Hagen Daz’s. And they give you a history while making it. Please go when you are in NOLA you won’t be disappointed. The decor of the place is also lovely.
