My experience tonight was the worst!

Food was good, no complaints about that really. Just in general pricey, as to be expected these days. I rarely leave reviews and I only leave them if I feel something is just off. $5 for some soggy and half burnt sweet potato fries is an issue. They must’ve put the broiler on while they were frozen! Guys you’re serving to the public and if I wanted fast food quality, I’d have gone to the burger place down the road. Speaking of which a fast food chain wouldn’t charge me and my significant other $7 for fountain drinks!!!

Brew-Bacher’s Grill is an incredible go to restaurant with a very nice selection of food. The burgers are fantastic and the catfish can stand up next to any ‘seafood’ restaurant in town. It’s better than good. I personally like the Mushroom Burger and the onion rings are to die for. We like both the Bluebonnet location but love the Drusilla location the most, it’s their 1st location and it’s so comfortable.

These are my recommendations, but all the food is delicious.

So so club sandwich, a bit disappointed since readings on this location and sandwich were so high by other people. I think the counter staff held back my sandwich somewhere in the kitchen even though my order was solo. The sandwich was limp, bread a little on the soggy side, lettuce was not super crisp either. Ordered sweet potato fries which were again super limp and did not taste good. Hadn’t been to a Brew-Bachers in a long time, I remember them having good hamburgers but I was in the mood for a club sandwich on this hot summer day. I was very disappointed. Might try them again for hamburger and see if that is still good on their menu.

I have not been to Brew backers in a few years and decided to bring a guest as I was exited for my guest to try BB’s awesomeness. They offer sweetened and unsweetened freshly brewed tea. The onion rings are unique and delicious. They do not fall apart like most do as the batter is a different consistency than what other restaurants use. I recommend the O rings over the loaded fries. The Oh rings are oh oh, it’s magic you know!?! The loaded fries are not worth the price unless you’re craving it particularly. So the onion rings and loaded fries totaled around $17. The cowboy burger has many toppings and they work well together. Kinda like Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan (queue Cowboy by Kid Rock). The shrimp Poboy used to be loaded with shrimp. It is no longer. RIP delicious poboy. Two burgers and two sides costed 46. A little pricey.

I had the fried chicken crosaint and my chicken was almost burnt. Fries tasted like they had been redipped so they would be hot. It was disgusting.

When I worked in Baton Rouge back in 2010-2011, came here often for lunch and it was my favorite!

The food here is decent at best. We ordered 2 side salads with our meals and the lettuce was so old and wilted we had to pick half of it out. It’s surprising they would even serve something so gross to a customer. Doubt we’ll ever return.

I was floored by how awesome the patty melt was here. I have craved a legit melt since I left Chicago and here it is. I suggest getting it with cheddar cheese.
