This place is a gem. All the foods we ordered are all excellent and delicious. We ordered oysters, seafood medley, ribs, clam chowder. All are delicious and satisfying. We went back again the next day. The host was kind enough to give us tables at the back since we are 8 people group. I really recommend this place. We are sure coming back to this place again.

Dining at the Brewster Inn is like a trip back to a simpler time, a genuine example of ‘Olde Cape Cod’ that traces its roots to the mid-1800’s. Locals fill the seats around the antique mahogany bar and dining room with historical photos on the walls. The menu is tried and true New England fare, filled with satisfying seafood, meat and sandwich options, all done well at affordable prices. The clam chowder is rich and creamy. The turkey club is a classic with house roasted sliced turkey. Same goes for their tender Longhorn roast beef wrap. Tasty burgers are cooked out back on a grill. Daily specials will surprise with dishes like pizza, moussaka, falafel, and other Mediterranean fare. And the warm, friendly service never disappoints. Slow down, go savor a meal, and soak up the old fashioned charm and history at the Brewster Inn & Chowder House.

My husband and I stumbled across Brewster Inn and Chowder House while staying at the Captain Freedman in 1994 when he proposed. The chowder is the best we’ve ever had and worth making the trip from Maryland every year since.

Awesome Fish Sandwich, plus best French Onion Soup on the Cape. 150 year old guest house with pub. Love it!

This was a little gem found today. The chowder was a 10, the turkey club was perfectly portioned. It is definitely a step back in time- like going to “Grandma’s house” for lunch. We definitely enjoyed it, and will be going back!

Excellent food in a very old Inn with a small dining room. It’s a local secret with the food. It also has an attached barn that in the summer season is called The Woodshed that packs them in every night with live entertainment.

If you are looking for good food and service, look no further! We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant in Brewster whist visiting Cape Cod. Tired, hot and with two hungry children (teenager and a ‘tween’), we were served promptly and with a smile. All dishes arrived at the same time, despite some of our awkward requests, and you could see as well as taste the freshness of ingredients. I had the fish sandwich (super fresh, real potato fries, crunchy salad) and the home made onion soup and was in culinary heaven. Not a bad word from anybody else in our party! I thought the cost was comparable to other restaurants in the area but the quality was much higher. The bonus is its location, a few minutes away from the beach, where we saw one of the most spectacular sunsets ever! There is an adjacent drinking place that we did not visit. A definitive must if visiting Cape Cod.

We found this place by accident. Food was great, homemade, and plentiful amounts. Prices are reasonable for lunch. Our server was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. We felt like we were eating in grandparent’s house. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and family oriented places for dining, I definitely recommend this place!

Wife and I have been here a couple of times. Our experience is that this place is overpriced for the quality;/quantity of food. Service is OK, although the last time we were there, we were the only patrons in the dining room (there were others at the bar), and there was only one waitperson on duty, so if the place had been crowded, the service would have been dreadful.
