Went there on a Friday around 5 PM and there were not too many people there, we got seated right away. We were given our Friday menu. I asked if they had any tap beer and they said they do not since Covid. We proceeded to order an old fashion with club soda and a point Amber and some cheese curds. Later we ordered a BLT and a side potato and a combo catfish and shrimp with red potatoes. Not a fan of an overly weak old fashioned. The food was ok however the catfish was excellent!

Had just stopped in for a couple of beers on a 90 degree day. What a hidden little gem this place is! JT was our bartender and was just great. We decided to stay until the kitchen opened at 4:00. The deluxe pizza was the best I have ever had outside of going to a pizza only shop. The BLT wrap was simply incredible. We will be going back. Highly recommend.

We’re from rapids and have only been there 3 times. First time to try it, second time with 19 friends and just this Friday with a small group. The food is fantastic and and will coming back often. The group of 19 had all 5 star reviews for food AND service. Their catfish and chowder is to die for. We even bought a quart to take home. Love this place!!!

Cajun catfish is always a hit! Pizzas and burgers are amazing as well! Homemade comfort food is often a special. Homemade soups. Highly recommend for delicious food and friendly staff.

I cannot say a bad thing about this place. I have tried random things on their menu from sandwiches to pizza to their fish fry as well as appetizers, and they all are amazing. The cooks and staff at Hiawatha go above and beyond to make sure your food is delicious and your customer service experience is above average. You get large portions and everything is made from scratch and fresh. Their homemade soups are welcoming in the winter months as well. And their leftovers are superb the next day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Very dark in dining area. Had to use lite on phone to read menu. They advertise $6 double old fashioned but don’t specify rail only and we weren’t informed that Bourbon is not rail, but they did take off the extra charge. Sour cream with baked potato is an extra charge.

Saw a friend’s post about the huge bloody mary they got, so we stopped. Husband asked for a bloody mary, he got a glass, no chaser, when I was asked what I want, I looked at his glass of bloody with no pickle nothing but a straw, I asked for a beer. Then I asked are the big bloody mary specials only during a certain time of day? Bartender said no you asked for bloody mary not a loaded one. We are from out of town, how would we know what to ask for? Maybe bartender should have asked do you want it loaded? Even so a pickle would have been nice. Just came for the pictured bloody so disappointing!! We definitely were not treated with a friendly manner. Will not be back, won’t suggest it.
