Wouldn’t recommend. Pulled pork has a weird taste, dry and more like the texture of jacklinks chew? Not sure how else to explain that one. Brisket had decent flavor but extremely fatty. Mac and cheese…just stop. Throw it out and start over. The literal worst Mac and cheese my taste buds have ever encountered beyond over cooked and just terrible flavor. Whoever cooked that and still decided to serve it should not work in a kitchen.

Food is good. BBq is good. Meat can be hit and miss though. Sometimes it is really good. Other times it is just okay.

As a relocated southerner I thought the bbq was good. I particularly liked the pulled pork and ribs. Baked beans and slaw were good as well. I didn’t try any of the other sides yet. Prices were very reasonable for the amount and quality.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. Had potatoe salad and brisket, where delicious, the different dressings or options are a thing. Service was great, a bit small place but it worked for us.

Came to Restaurant for ribs or brisket or pulled pork. The meat was all taken on the food truck, leaving nothing at the restaurant. Not afraid to say this is not the smartest move.

Who knew there was this great place for Smoked Meats in Manitowoc? We had pulled pork nachos. Wow! The brisket was also delicious. Low key decor. But nice.

Food was fantastic but that’s all I can say is good. Service was all around terrible. Would have sat at the bar but all the seats were taken by all the employees. I ordered a beer and one of the workers had to get up and pour it. Didn’t seem happy. We sat at a table and ordered. Food came out and never got checked on. Could hear the employees at the bar talking and not caring about the customers there. Would have had another beer but had to go the bar and ask for the check and togo box. Not impressed at all with the service.

My husband and I have loved Brian’s Smokehouse for years, so it was the one and only place we looked to to cater our wedding. Best decision EVER! The food was absolutely delicious! The pulled pork and chicken were amazing as usual, the mac and cheese and beans were perfect sides, and a few of our guests said the potato salad was the best they’ve ever eaten (though that was said about pretty much everything on the menu, too!) The price was incredible – such an amazing deal for the portions that our guests had – and the service they provided was great! I would highly recommend Brian’s Smokehouse – as a stop for lunch, or as the caterer for your next event!

Came to grab lunch on a Friday at 2 they were closed for catering as they left a note on their door, but posted on Facebook to come by for their specials at 1pm but never mentioned they would be closed. They also delete comments off their facebook page instead of answering back to the same community they ask to support them. Not sure how you think we will want to come back if you are choosing who you would like to deal with.
