We were looking for a short drive from home to get a bite to eat on a beautiful summer afternoon. We drive by all the time and have always wanted to stop. It is a food truck with a wood fired pizza oven. There is plenty of covered picnic tables for outdoor dining out of the direct sun. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Kitchen Sink pizza. It came out in less than 10 minutes. Great crust and red sauce with lots of toppings. FYI, for those familar with the area, they will be moving into the old Yantic River Inn by the end of summer 2023

So, a friend raved about their Margarita pizza so we decided to try it. We phoned in our order & I specifically asked for a “LARGE”. This would have been the PERFECT TIME to educate me (obviously a new customer) that there is ONLY ONE SIZE & that it’s what I would consider a SMALL. So we arrived after a long drive & were handed a small box for two very hungry adults. We said there must be a mistake we ordered a “large”. That’s when we were told there’s only one size. Not pleased we then said I guess we’ll have to order a second one & wait. This is when the guy said in a snarky voice “you know you’re gonna have to pay for it”. We in no way expected or insinuated that we should receive a free pizza as my friend was reaching for his wallet to pay. An apology for the confusion would have been nice but I guess that’s the level of customer service one should expect from teens running the show. The pizza was very good but I would not consider it great.

Had them cater a wedding welcome donner. Could not have been happier. Arrived right on time, ready to set up knowing the weather was going to be a wet challenge. John was a pro. Everything was delicious, hot and catered to all special needs. I received so many compliments…all raved about the food and service. I turned around and had 10 boxed pizzas for the next day. All was cleaned up and spotless. John thanks for making such great memories so delicious and easy. Happy parents of the groom!

Best Pizza I’ve had yet since moving here. Crust was cooked perfectly when I asked for a light char. Sauce is really good, not a sweet sauce and not spicy, somewhere in between. Just the right amount of cheese as well. I will absolutely be ordering again!

Fantastic pizza, made with wonderfully fresh ingredients! I am not a local, but anytime that I am within 30 minutes of this pizza, I make sure to grab a pie! Highly recommend if the Wild Buffalo pizza if youre into a meat pizza, or if you are vegetarian/prefer more traditional tomato-based pizzas, The Fresco is an easy choice. 10/10
