The food was amazing! The shrimp and grits were my favorite, and they even allowed me to order it without onions and peppers. The portion sizes were filling. It took 15 minutes to get drinks once seated, and we rarely saw our waitress. The people seated across from us were seated after us and saw their waitress and even received their drinks before our waitress surfaced. This is the only reason I could not give the restaurant 5 stars.

Starting with the service, I have to say our server was great. Very attentive without being overbearing. She answered all questions about the menu items and was very polite. I had the shrimp and grits. My husband had the breakfast burger and fries. My meal was pretty good. Nice kick, but not too spicy. The Irish coffee I had left a bit to be desired. The coffee was not as strong as I prefer, the presentation was pretty. My husband said his burger was great and the fries were not bad, but basic (he’s not a big fry eater though). All in all, we’d definitely return and try some of the other menu items.

Went with the family on a Sunday around 10am. It was a 45 mins wait, but we got bloody marys so it was fine. Server was friendly and the food was REALLY GOOD! The kitchen took a long time to push out dishes, but it’s worth it

I read reviews before going and most of them were correct. I wouldn’t come here if you’re in any type of rush. Definitely slow paced and relaxed atmosphere. All the food was good, but they get plenty for breakfast food compared to the position sizes.

Great setting and atmosphere. Waiter was sweet and attentive. My only complaint is – the pancake tasted like it was maybe on a dish that had food or something else on it right before. Or maybe it was the pancake. It had like a weird taste to it. At the bottom of it. So pancake wasn’t too good. – also not a fan of grits with corn but was was happy to have tried it.

I love this place because it has a shaded, dog-friendly patio, which has saved me multiple times. The service is friendly and good, and the food is delicious. I didn’t feel like the service was slow at any time. Pictured is their lemon beignets, which were incredibly delicious and warm. They have many different types of dishes, including vegetarian options.

Brick & Spoon is a cozy and charming restaurant that serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with comfortable seating, lots of natural lighting, and tasteful decor that gives the restaurant a casual and friendly feel.

This place is so overrated. The French toast was bland… throw some cinnamon and brown sugar in the custard. My French toast tasted like straight scrambled eggs on bread. And my breakfast sausage that they charge an extra $3.50 for is the exact same sausage that Holiday inn Express serves for free… you know… the rubbery fake tasting sausage? Yep, don’t order it.
