Ok as a PROFESSIONAL critic of the food and beverage industry I have to say that this place has been one of the best places I personally have visited within the last three years. If there is a better shrimp and grits within 5000 miles let me know. Nick was an excellent attentive server. I hear that if you get here early enough you can get a taste of some of the south’s finest fried green tomatoes but you gotta be quicker than I was today. I 100% recommend this place for one of my top 3 favorite places I have visited. I will be back to visit again in a few months. Thank you for an amazing dining experience.

Hannah was our waitress and she was amazing. We weren’t in her section, but she took our table when she realized that we hadn’t had our order taken yet. She totally made up for having to wait so long. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. I don’t suggest the sausage biscuits and gravy. There was hardly any sausage gravy on the biscuit.

For starters, this restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe. Our server, Jackie, was so incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a great time chatting with her and ordering some of her recommendations from the menu. The food was delicious!! Lots of flavor. Fresh. Just fabulous. And the coffee was great (especially the Irish Coffee ☘️). Our sweet server even blessed us with a complimentary order of beignet’s as an anniversary gift. We cannot believe we did not try this place sooner and will be back, for sure!!

Atmosphere of the place was very nice but that’s about where the good experience ends. Took 55 minutes to get our food (only had two people) and it wasn’t busy either. When food finally came out my burger was overcooked and average at best and on top of that the fries were still not done so they didn’t come out with the rest of my food. The other meal was the cajun pasta and it looked good but was very salty. Also, originally wanted to get the shrimp tacos but they were out of shrimp. I understand that happens, but it just added to the frustration of this experience. Never got a refill on our drink either. Very overpriced for what was given. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I always worry about the atmosphere because I have a small child and some places just aren’t that great for small children but this place wasn’t bad. The staff was very friendly and I really appreciated getting into a restaurant on a Sunday. Most places are crowded with the after church crowds but this place was a hidden jewel. We made a reservation which I recommend because it wasn’t super spacious but I like to think that also added to its appeal. A nice place to grab a quick bite with super nice folk to help you. My kiddo got the pancake which was super cute how they dressed it up. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was excellent. Not too many people do a chicken breast well so I’m usually wary but they nailed it. And their bananas in pajamas were very tasty with a nice crunch. I don’t remember what the dipping sauce was but it complemented it. Not sweet enough for my taste but still very good. I’d get it again. My sister got the shrimp and grits and i remember her remarking that ‘they’re the only ones she’s had in town that aren’t spicey’ in case this is a detail that would be useful to you. I totally recommend this place and i can’t wait to visit again.

The food was tasty and the drinks were awesome! I was surprised three staff members were trying to run this restaurant alone. They did a great job, all considered, but it seems to me that’s not the best way to run a business. I had been here twice before to eat and was turned away due to unusually long wait times. I guess I was expecting more?

This was one of the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. The food was extremely good. I was glad to finally have shrimp & grits that weren’t so hot i could eat them without coughing. The pancakes are as big as the plates and the drinks were good. Our person was Jackie and she was phenomenal. Very very attentive & very helpful with her suggestions since we had never eaten there before. The lady who greeted and sat us was nice as well. We will definitely return!!!

This place is amazing! The mimosas were delicious (watermelon, classic, and mango were favorites) and the food was just right! Crystal was a great waitress and she was super helpful with drink choices! Definitely worth coming back to in the future!
