The food was decent but not as good as I remember from when I was in college (2008-2013). The drinks were good and at decent prices. Curds were delicious as well (although not the best I’ve had). I’d give this place 4 stars but the booths were kind of run down (broken springs/cracking covers) as well. Service was good, we had a friendly waitress.

Come for the duck legs and a beer but go somewhere else for dinner. The duck legs were great and went well with the cherry barbecue sauce. The actual barbecue on the other hand, not so much. The brisket was way over done and dry, the ribs were overdone and fatty. The sides were average at best and the original barbecue sauce had an odd flavor profile.

This place is consistently terrible. I used to go here regularly for trivia, so I have more perspective than one visit. When the food is good, it’s actually pretty good, but about 75% of the time, the food tastes and looks like it’s been sitting out for a long time. It’s stale/old and lukewarm. The service matches the food–I’m honestly not sure how a restaurant hires so many bad servers. There’s maybe one or two that are usually on the ball, but the vast majority of the time, the servers are inattentive or outright rude. We’ve been left with all drinks empty, ignored, cursed at, told they can’t split checks, denied posted drink specials (after ordering and drinking them, because the menu hasn’t been updated yet?) and blatantly lied to. We only continued to go because of the convenient location but even that isn’t enough to keep us anymore. I’d steer clear!

Superb eatery. Went in, and the place was clean, had a nice feel to it, loved the music that was playing. The bathrooms were very clean. Our waitress, Riley, was alert, but not pushy, and did an excellent job. Finally, the food: I order a Brickhouse burger and my girlfriend got 1/3 rack of ribs. Mine came with fries, hers with 2 sides of her choosing. And everything was very reasonably priced. Food was hot and delicious, generous portions, and had 3 different sauces we could try, all tasted unique and excellent. Buy a groupon, and have a dinner here, fantastic restaurant.

I’ve never written a review before but had to write one after eating at Brickhouse BBQ. We came in on a Sunday evening around 6:30. There were empty tables that needed to be cleared and we were told the wait would be 15 minutes. We waited closer to 45 minutes. After we were seated we waited quite a long time for the waitress to take our order. I tried to order pulled pork but was told they were out. We both ordered brisket, which was fine – nothing special. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive, and it didn’t come out hot. Our dinners were supposed to come with cornbread but when we asked about the cornbread we were told they were out. It would have been nice to have been told his right away. We finally got our bill around 8:30 and paid cash so we could escape quickly.

We have been coming to Brickhouse every Tuesday since they started trivia around a year ago. It was great then. It has steadily grown in popularity since and the management has done nothing to accommodate the large number of people every week. Some weeks there will be one server and one bartender for the entire packed restaurant. They have an entire upstairs that they don’t even utilize.

I love good BBQ but one of the main draws to this place to me is there rooftop while the weather is nice. I’ve gone there 2 times now and have been told that we could not use the rooftop because there was not enough staff. On one occasion we were flat out told we could not eat there because they were too busy. They said nothing about a wait or anything. Location is nice foods alright but there are no other positives.

Food seemed to be tasteful. I ordered the brisket sandwich on Texas toast with fries. It was really good. Bathroom was clean and the booth was okay, not the cleanest. The waitress and staff were nice and courteous.
