A gem in the heart of North Dakota.

What a pleasant surprise! I didn’t think a fine dining establishment would exist in the area but here we are. Very beautiful establishment with a dark, cozy, intimate setting. Perfect for dates . Love the art on the walls strewn throughout the restaurant.

Usually come on Friday nights for drinks in the B2 Lounge. Great strawberry mojitos. Usual dish is the filet mignon and occasionally added lobster tail.

The address took us to the side of the building that looked like the windows were boarded so we were a little concerned but once we figured out where the entrance was the restaurant did not disappoint! It was absolutely delicious. I gave service 4 stars simply because they should have had more servers for a Friday night but the ones that were working were running their tails off and were great! I can’t say enough about the food though, just amazing!

The food was very tasty, the remodel from how I remembered from just 3 years ago wasn’t that different. What I really didn’t like during this visit was the atmosphere this time. It was very noisy & rowdy, like a sports bar, nothing I would expect from a “classier” establishment that this was, especially for what you pay. People actually save up to go to special places such as these, and once you’re there & the atmosphere is like an Applebee’s & not a romantic, serene place where one can actually talk without yelling….it’s very disappointing. Will not be returning just because of that reason. Sad that Dickinson no longer has nice places like that anymore.

A surprise and gem of a restaurant. Best BBQ ribs I’ve ever had. Waitress was EXTREMELY kind and made sure everything was to our liking. Chef came out as well. Go there if you are within 50 miles. Great stop after seeing Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit.

I went here for my birthday dinner, everything was phenomenal! The service was great, the cocktails were perfect, and the food was amazing. Scallops and pork were perfectly cooked. Love the atmosphere too.

The service and food here is excellent. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin. It was cooked perfectly and without a doubt the best steak I’ve ever eaten. I recommend getting the grilled asparagus as a side. It’s upscale and a fun place to stop at.

Brickhouse used to be a higher quality restaurant in Dickinson. Now that The Crossing has been closed this is your only other comparable option. However, the same situation is currently playing out at Brickhouse. The ingredient quality has diminished along with the service. Most of the time I have decent servers, but recently I had a really poor experience and it wasn’t managed well. My gf and I didn’t eat any of our sides, service was slow (we were her only table), baked potatoes cold, Brussel sprouts not cooked fully. They have changed some of their ingredients and seems like they have a new chef. The prices are still high but the quality is lacking more. Coming from larger cities in other states and having high quality, unique, and fine dining options – it was nice to have the Crossing and the Brickhouse in Dickinson. Now, the only place left (and I’m not sure how long it’ll last) is Brickhouse. Now, there are no “higher” end restaurants to eat in Dickinson. At least nothing worth the price. I will save my money until I’m in California, Colorado, Minnesota, or some place that can actually provide a higher quality, “fine dining” experience worth the cost. It’s unfortunate that dickinson continues to grow in population and yet the city poorly manages the infrastructural development. There is nothing here enticing people to stay long term, hardly any entertainment, not much good food – even less now.

Absolutely LOVED this restaurant! Making the reservations online was simple and fast. The staff were all courteous, attentive and professional from the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by a wonderful hostess who sat us at our table right away. Within minutes we were brought a variety of warm fresh bread with oil and vinegar. Our waitress, Tara and the “junior waitress” (I’m not certain of her name or title) were both amazing. We’ve been to a variety of VERY good restaurants all across the country and this is definitely going in our top 10! The ribeye and salmon were cooked and seasoned to perfection! We’re just passing through North Dakota on our way across the country, but if we were local, it would be our goto! If you get the chance to visit this restaurant, don’t pass it up!
