Such a cute spot with nice atmosphere. My waitress Carly was so excellent, she gets the most stars of this review! So personable and just all around great. The food… not exactly what I had hoped but pretty good. The French onion soup was def a no from me, and they very kindly took it off my check. The 14oz NY strip special was delicious though. My one issue was (also like the soup) it wasn’t hot? Like temperature wise everything was room temp (but Carly was so great and felt bad the soup wasn’t good so I didn’t want to tell her, sorry!!) The chocolate peanut butter cake though?! I could’ve had just that for dinner. It was AMAZING! Maple bourbon old fashioned – just okay. I would return again for the service, atmosphere, cake and albeit lukewarm the entree was really good.

Sliced corned beef sandwich with fries and I had the Angus burger. Staff is really nice and the restaurant seems to be THE place to be! Parking in back- turn BEFORE the restaurant if your coming from the gas station or bridge. LOL. Our wrong turn took us on a tour of the neighborhood! Amazing variety and options in food. It is kinda dark in here –

The service was incredible from start to finish, our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. They have a really nice bar and plenty of indoor seating. We had scallops with risotto and a New York strip. Both were perfectly cooked we thoroughly enjoyed them. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Amazing Clam chowder and the Sea scallops are so good. Had to travel to Connecticut for business and this restaurant was our favorite and first choice to eat at each night. The staff is so friendly and gave great suggestions of the menu.

It’s a nice dinner spot. Space is small. Lighting is good for dates if you’re able to hear your date. The evening my family went with friends it was just loud. Not sure if it’s like that every time but I guess it’s good for the restaurant because they were booked. We did make reservations for Bridge House. I didn’t know if they were known for their seafood here but we did order 3 plates of food from their Ocean category. I must add though, we ordered a few appetizers and actually got full from them. I don’t know if it’s because our entrees took so long to come out that we finished our appetizers first, but none of us could finish our entrees. My cod fish over risotto seemed like a small dish but I couldn’t finish it. It was flavorful though. The steak was mediocre. I thought it needed to be seasoned a little bit more maybe? The lobster roll just didn’t look as appetizing compared to other lobster rolls I’ve tried in Connecticut. The crab cakes were better than other places I’ve tried. They do have a kids menu and the portions are big so if you’ve got small children, perhaps consider ordering one dish for them to share if they want the same thing.

This place married my 2 favorite things in this World! Pesto and swordfish! It was amazing. Period! The 2-way calamari with arugula was incredible too. I will definitely be back to this gem when I’m in the area.
