Home style sandwich shop. For this category, this place is perfect. The owners are super nice, the food is good.

Simply said, it’s hands down my favorite place to go for lunch if we have the time. Everyone that I have introduced to it is blown away by the taste of pretty much everything that Blaine puts on a plate. Then you go up to pay and he adds up your food and gives you a price half of what anywhere else would be. I mean you get a monster double cheeseburger and fries for like 6 bucks. I could go on but I believe enough has already been said to make you wanna go give them your business

I want to reply to the following review, because I think they misunderstood. The owner was offering to let them eat for FREE and bring him money next time. I know several people including a coworker and my mother who have not had cash and paid him during their next visit. Blane is an awesome person! He keeps his prices low because he is not paying credit card fees to MC and VISA.

Beef and noodles were perfect. Generous portions at a very reasonable price.

Was super excited to try this place after hearing good things about it. My fiancé and I ordered 2 burgers and a home fry (when the guy making everything decided to acknowledge us), the guy acted very irritated. When we walked in we weren’t greeted, nor did the guy say he’d be with us in a moment, he completely ignored us. I was worried they didn’t take cash because the cash register looked old as hell, so when we asked the guy he told us no he didn’t take cash. Then proceeded to say “just get it next time bud” as in the next time we have cash I guess we’d be allowed to order. I understand having bad days but he could have said “I’ll have it ready, if you need to run and grab cash” We just left, who doesn’t take card?! It’s 2023, nobody I know carries cash! No thanks, we won’t be back. The only reason this place gets business is because of all the old people that were sitting in there. Very disappointing, at least we know not to give this place business.

Within walking distance to Anchor. Came in around noon on a Thursday. Able to get a table. He has about 6 or 7 tables. Cash only. Our waiter was also our cook. Super friendly service. But this is no frills at all. Drinks in bottles & cans. Prices were ridiculously cheap. I had the fried bologna. It was excellent. French fries were also great!

Awesome burgers and fries and the prices are great. Our table allowed us to watch the food being cooked and wow that was some Hussle going on. I’m so glad we discovered this little gem. I only had credit cards and the owner told me to pay on my next visit. Lucky for me my friend had cash. You don’t find places like this anymore I will be back.

The best hidden restaurant you will ever find. Blaine, the owner cooks everything from scratch. He makes his own noodles by hand. Spaghetti day on Monday he does use box spaghetti but the spaghetti sauce is homemade excellent. Even better than the food are the prices they’re stuck in the ’50s

I like to find new small businesses when I’m out of town. So when I found myself hungry in Lancaster this morning my boyfriend and I decided to hit up google for a small independent restaurant suggestion. The pictures on google had my boyfriend at double bacon cheeseburger. So we headed into the unknown. When we got there the ruffly five million stickers on the front door let us know we were in for a dive experience. If that didn’t make it clear enough the massive stack of empty egg cartons and sign over the second door in hand writing assuring us the establishment was open definitely sealed the deal. This place is a one man show that has the feel that his wife said his buddies couldn’t keep coming over for lunch, so he started a restaurant to show her! I think I might have been the only woman to ever come to this place. It’s like Cheers for older men exclusively. All that said, the food was phenomenal, definitely the place to go if you are nursing a hangover and need delicious but extremely greasy food. The prices were dirt cheap and the service was great. Fun experience.

Brigg’s Sandwiches is the epitome of a burger joint. For what we paid, the burger was amazing. Some places would charge double for this kind of burger. And the guy working there (I suppose he is the owner) epitomizes small town hospitality. You may even mistake him for your own dad. Note – CASH ONLY. If you’re in a pinch, there’s an ATM in the coin laundry two blocks away.
