Food was outstanding! Seafood absolutely done right. Judita was warm and welcoming while we waited (very briefly) for our table. They had a solid beer, wine, and cocktail list. Plenty of oyster varieties that our server was happy to talk us through. I was also happy to see they had a children’s menu, though we didn’t utilize it. Glad we found this spot! Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible and delicious. The most delectable seafood in all of DC. The owner and Judita were super friendly and extremely helpful. Everything was SUPER fresh. The Himachi Crudo was unreal. Definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure.

First of all, we were excited to see an “old” friend, Judita, who is so friendly and outgoing. We started with the delicious octopus appetizer. My wife had the lobster roll, which exceeded her expectations, and I had the low country entree—wonderful. We finished with the key lime parfait. Light and tart. Service was very good. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service!! Makeya so informative and attentive and the oysters were amazing. The happy hour drinks were a great deal and the bartender definitely did not short us on the liquor. The bus boys were super attentive, our table was never left unclean during our meal. Absolutely recommend it 🙂

My spouse and I came here for a date night, and we’re so glad we did! It’s smaller / more intimate, which was great for a cozy romantic dinner. We got the big seafood tower, and it was so good! Highly recommend for the delicious food and friendly staff.

We had a large group for brunch. It was a bit cramped for our table of 9 because the place is intimate. Wonderful food and a great mixed drink menu. Oysters were great. Should be be noted the Huevos Ranchero is on a torta and is not a taco/tortilla. Pancakes were delicious. Steak and eggs were good.

We had a wonderful dinner at Brine last night. Since it was our first time, we tried as many different items as possible and everything was delicious. We tried an assortment of both raw and cooked oysters on the half shell, the chili lime broiled oyster being a highlight. The Hamachi Crudo was also fantastic and had an excellent kick of spice. The cornmeal fried oysters were hot, crispy and had a nice crunch. The lobster bisque was also served piping hot and had a wonderful rich, deep flavor, and a nice large chunk of steamed lobster meat. Yum! Another highlight was the grilled octopus over polenta. The serving was small, but the octopus incredibly well cooked (so soft and tender) and that whole dish was nicely composed. Our cocktails and wine paired very well with the meal. If you are a seafood, and especially shellfish fan, this cute, intimate spot is for you. Service was friendly and efficient. Welcome to the neighborhood, Brine! We will be regulars 🙂
