Slinging wood fired fare since 1998, Brixx serves gourmet pizzas and wings, fresh salads, sandwiches and pastas; accompanied by a full bar with 24 craft drafts, 14 wines by the glass and custom cocktails. Our traditional and whole wheat dough, hummus, fresh mozzarella, wood-roasted chicken, salad dressings and more are scratchmade in-house.

In town visiting for a couple of days and wanted to try something local. .y son and I sat at the bar and it was pretty crowded. Josh (the bartender) was probably one of the hardest working bartenders I have seen in a while. He made sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed while handling the bar duties all on his own. The pizza was fantastic. I’d eat there regularly if I lived in Charlotte. Highly recommend.

Is this extra cheese? I would hate to see what regular cheese looks like. We got 4 different pizzas delivered via door dash. All 4 pizzas are dry with very little toppings. Waste of money.

Besides being run by children and generally having to wait 10 minutes for my food regardless of the size of my order, I will always love Brixx. Although the pizzas have gotten smaller since covid and they definitely skimp on toppings now. It’s always packed with happy families which I do love to see. Staff is usually pretty nice too.

The staff is always welcoming and nice. It’s a nice place for a quick, casual bite to eat. The only reason it’s 4/5 ⭐️s … my pizza is never consistently the same. Sometimes it’s over cooked or cheese is all in 1 area vs evenly spread. I’ve never sent it back, but I’m sure the server would get it taken care of it I did.

The pizza and pasta were good. The pecan pie crust was too hard. The ice cream and peach sauce were good. There was trash under our booth that hadn’t been swept from earlier. The service was friendly and great. I would likely go back again. They have a nice patio area. The restaurant is in the center of the shopping courtyard.

They redid their menu and you can no longer make a custom pizza. They also removed their hummus and pita trio and replaced it with a subpar cumin flatbread hummus thing that was nowhere near as good. They also got rid of all of their vegetable toppings. No spinach or broccoli or any of the toppings I used to get as a veggie lover. Service was abysmal. They didn’t seem to have a hostess so we stood at the front for awhile before a waiter finally took us to a table. They must be understaffed, but the food wasn’t really worth the wait. I used to love getting a veggie pizza and hummus and pita points and now I can just get better pizza with actual customizations almost anywhere else.

Pizza was decent but way too small. We ordered 3 larges for 5 small kids and it wasn’t enough! Chicken wings are dry. The salads are fantastic though.
