This is a family restaurant comparable to Sam’s Hauffbrows. The staff is very friendly. Large troops of people. The prime rib was untried but tasted fine. The puffed bread was interesting. The waiter was very sweet. The red blend went well with the meal. The food tasted like canned ingredients were used. Infectious laughter could be heard by the children.

Depending on your luck, Broadway Prime could be hit or miss. This time, the prime ribs were flavorful, moist on the inside, not fatty and tasted even better on the drier outer edges. Those of us that had the prime rib was happy with their meals. The person that had the dry aged NY steak said it was overcooked and only ate 1/2 of it. Service was excellent.

We went in tonight without a reservation manager, which was super nice, and they had a full house. We waited about 20 minutes and got a great table. Our server Theresa was excellent. You did a great job checking on us with a full house. Drinks were delicious food was even better. It was such a nice place to eat and such a great staff! The cream spinach was awesome. I had to get seconds. The prime rib is on point.

Food was delicious; however, service was extremely slow. We went on a Sunday eve around 6ish, it was busy so we were seated at bar. There were 3 of us. It took over an hour to get our steaks & prime rib! I don’t think I want to seat at bar for dinner again cause that might have been reason service was slow…servers forgot about us? Still like this place though.

Wandering around downtown Burlingame and happened upon Broadway prime rib. After reading reviews I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. First service, who I presume was the owner , he was friendly and attentive which contributed to why the place was so busy. The bread was brought to my table fairly quickly follow shortly after the salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing was amazing. Not too long after my main course was served. It was a nice piece of salmon along with cream spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. The only criticism I have is the salmon was just slightly overcooked. I certainly would not let that prevent me from a return visit. If you happen to be downtown Burlingame you won’t be sorry you gave This place to try

Good option for prime rib dinner! Recommend getting the garlic mashed potatoes and corn for the sides (skip the creamed spinach – it’s super starchy). The salad and Yorkshire pudding is basically the same as HoPR.

GreatvItalian Restaurant in the heart of old Town Burlingame. Great small restaurant atmosphere, with amazing dishes. We had the stuffed mushrooms and calamari and I had the white cream lasagna. Excellent tasting and the servers were very attentive. Prices are reasonable. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The vibe was definitely classy. They was so hospitable. I am an HoPR fan for 10 years. This place was recommended by friends who couldn’t get the reservation time they wanted. The food was pretty much identical. The salad still my favorite salad in the world. The meat prepared just the way I liked. Just no frills. Just give me the food and go cave man!

White-table cloth interior with a casual atmosphere. Upstairs has a private dining area great for parties and events. The service is warm and inviting, no guest leaves without being appreciated. Bar service is great as well. The steak was classic, with the sides leaving a bit more to be desired. I’ll definitely return soon for the overall experience.
