Really good food and yes this is a hotel restaurant. Had the burger, but was cooked perfectly and the fries were tasty! Beer selection is good. Staff was fantastic and attentive.

Whether it’s drinks on their outdoor patio with San Diego buildings as your backdrop, or dining indoors with a menu that includes lamb lollipops, poutine, ahi poke and steak frites, you’ll be getting a great meal and cocktails. Service is exceptional too.

We have been enjoying this restaurant for numerous meals during our stay this week. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is amazing but Juan is the BEST! He (and the whole team) go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and more. Do not miss this restaurant!

Way better than it has any right to be in the lobby of a hotel. I stayed 120 nights in Marriotts last year, and the food at this place outpaces other Marriott restaurants by a longshot. The quality of ingredients is way beyond what you would typically get. Mundane played out dishes like roasted Brussels sprouts have new life with humboldt fog goat cheese. The lobster roll was better than the one I had in Martha’s Vineyard from a private chef a few weeks ago. And the pricing is way lower than you would expect for 2023. Big kudos to the team here, and to the chef.

Juan took care of us on a Tuesday night at around 5:45. After some research this is where we decided to have our pre-Rady Shell meal and it was the right choice. Juan brought out some complimentary poke and fried shrimp/pork which was a pleasant surprise. Drinks were stiff and hit the spot. We ordered the Steak Frites and Alaskan Salmon- both fresh and cooked perfectly; and finished the meal off with an apple tart dessert.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The street taco pizza was not good. The meat and corn were tough. Maybe it is a difference in preferences, but I found it disappointing. I got it take out and didn’t feel like going back down to get something else

This was a disappointing visit. Service was very slow and the server never introduced himself. He rarely came to check in. On one occasion he rushed by saying “need anything” and we didn’t even get a chance to respond. I waited a good twenty minutes before I could put in a drink order….The restaurant is not busy, there were four other small groups. The other server seemed much more personable with guests so perhaps it’s isolated but unfortunately it didn’t leave us wanting to come back.

Delicious food— incredibly personable service. Mike (the manager) was absolutely engaging and kind. The best choice in the gaslamp district!

Lovely little spot to grab some food and drinks! We stayed at the Westin and while our stay wasn’t that great, having lunch and drinks at this place made up for it. The service was
