Please allow me to introduce my self and the story of this restaurant. My name is Simba Khalfani I am a Vietnam Vet. I am also the husband of the Owner and CEO of Brooklyn Restaurant Bar and Lounge. Brooklyn Restaurant and Lounge formally known as Amanda’s Seafood, which was named after my Mother in law Amanda Snell – Johnson. My wife/owner of this establishment is Mrs. Veronica Johnson-Khalfani. I met this wonderful woman at Beekman Hospital where she worked and retired in nursing after 30 years. Veronica worked tiredly for days during 911 not being able to go home. She was born and raised in Marcy Projects Brooklyn NY, While in NY Veronica was able to meet Shawn Carter formally Known as Jay Z and Chris Rock of Decatur st.

Veronica, Simba, Maureen and Steve made a Birthday last Friday night a unforgettable evevening, the decorations service were fantastic. Veronica Steve, Maureen, Simba went all out.
