I’d been craving a good hamburger for quite a while. The kind that’s crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle, served on a bun that’s nicely toasted yet still soft. With just enough lettuce and tomato add some punch while the flavor of the grilled beef is still the star. Brooks Burgers is the place! My crave has been satisfied. That would be enough, add to it that everyone working there was super nice, chatty but not too chatty, proud of the place. Now I’m plotting my next opportunity to go there again.

That was a good burger! Very busy place, service was friendly and the layout is casual. I had the Brooksy, a flavorful juicy burger with onion ring, grilled onions and a tangy sauce and a side of fries. My with had the Brooks burger and added avocado. Definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, it’s disappointing. We were really excited to try a new burger place. We came here with the whole family too. Most of us ordered burgers, fries, tots, and soda. There was also a shake and a salad. Presentation of all items was good. Salad was decent and good size. Shake was good price but disgusting. Four of us tried it, including my two year old. When a two year old says icky to something that should be universally delicious, it’s a red flag. The shake taste like pure Hersheys syrup. We threw it away. All burgers were bland and the buns were over toasted which made the bread hard. I got the Wagyu Experience burger and it was very “meh”. Their fries were pretty tasty but WAY overpriced for the small quantity you get, not worth the $ IMO. You get slightly more tots for the money. Overall, not only e of us 8 in attendance enjoyed the food. Half of us didn’t even finish it. I heard the Pismo location is better… I hope so.

I love their Mushroom Burger! Excellent! Perfect ratio of mushroom to grilled onions! I think their fries are pretty good, not the best, but good. Excellent customer service!! And nice restaurant. Great pick for burgers!

I’ve been twice now and I really liked the tri tip sandwich but was unimpressed by the Big Bird sandwich (the chicken, avocado, bacon one). The fries are a bit tasteless but the tots are good. They have a bunch of craft beer on tap and a dart board

I am sorry but my husband and I were really excited to try this place but both left super disappointed with the lack of flavor in the custom burgers we ate. Pricy too. Service friendly and fast. Tables a bit small for a couple so we went to the square tables.

Hands down – BEST BURGER in SLO! However it is quite large, so if you’re like me you’ll want to split it with someone. Fries and salad are excellent too. Hip and happening when there is a crowd.
