Had the brisket dinner with greens and Mac. It did not disappoint. The brisket was tender and moist with just enough sauce. Everything was cooked just right as far as flavor and texture goes. I would definitely return!

GREAT Customer Service by the cashier, & the chicken, fries, Mac n cheese, baked beans & bbq sauce were all good, I was very glad there wasn’t any pork in the beans, HOWEVER, the brisket was cut into chunks, there were a couple slices mixed in, BUT, there was A LOT of fat & fatty pieces, in all honesty, it was the worse brisket my sister & I have ever had…….Sadly, there wasn’t any of the smoked turkey available & no bread included with the meal…….

Went here for lunch today and I must say I was highly disappointed.. the barbecue was good but the brisket was a bit on the fatty side. I ordered the 2 meat 3 sides combo which costs 25 dollars ( mac and cheese, greens, and potato salad) I loved this place when it first opened, but the food has lost its sparkle; the mac was bland and tasteless and the greens tasted canned, the potato salad was great. I suggest that maybe they go back to making the food like they did in the beginning. Out of 5 stars I’d probably rate this visit at a 2.5…..

I ordered a combo plate with tips and ribs, as well as a rib dinner. Most of the meat was hard and salty, which surprised me because while I was at the restaurant the young lady gave me a sample of the tips which tasted the exact opposite. I believe my mistake was I came around 7:40pm, they close at 8pm. The young man came from the back to give me the meat for my orders and I believe he gave me meat that had sat there too long because the meat in my meals was very different from the sample the young lady gave me. I paid around $47 for food that we barely ate.

We needed a good BBQ restaurant on the southside. This is a good location. The food was great. AMAZING rib tips. The sides could be better but I’ll definitely be back.

I placed an order for an event. They accepted the order, but less than 24 hours before the event (while I am working on third shift) I get an email not a phone call saying they cnt fullfil my order and my money will be refunded. So the morning of my grandmother’s funeral my husband and I were forced to try and find food food for the repast. Never again. And it’s a shame because the bbq is good

Son recommended this place and they did not disappoint. Dinners were chicken with baked beans and potato salad, chicken with Macaroni and cheese and baked beans, rib tips with Macaroni and cheese and potato salad and last dinner brisket with potato salad and Macaroni and cheese. Only thing I didn’t like was the greens would not be ready for 1 hour.

The meat was good the sides were NOT! If I returned it would be just for the meat. Seating is limited. No straws they only have canned soda. The macaroni and cheese was dry the greens more like canned greens even though they claim they’re not. I wouldn’t waste another 40 bucks there.

My friend went and picked up our food. We had 2 Brisket dinners and a couple of rib dinners. The food was very tender and very good, the portions were more than enough. I ate off my brisket dinner twice. I’m never going back to that other bbq place. Y’all have a customer for life.
