Wonderful family restaurant. Dined for breakfast with my mother. Service could have been better – they seemed short staffed and there appeared to be a large group function going on in the banquet room. Our meals were superb, better than home cooked! Served perfect temperature and generous portions. Interior is like a time capsule, love the diner experience. Will be visiting often.

It’s always a good sign when I walk into a place filled with regulars. The owner happened to be there when I walked in and offered me a boysenberry square and it was absolutely delicious. A regular sat down next to me at the counter and recommended Grandma Jennie’s fluffy pancakes and the Western omelette. I ended up going with the California eggs benedict, a traditional favorite of mine with bacon, tomato, and avocado. I’ll definitely be going back.

Home cooking done right. Excellent hash browns and the grandma Jennie’s pancakes are incredible. I like it that they don’t salt the eggs. I also love their huevos rancheros, which are in a spicy, green sauce. Friendly staff in a casual neighborhood eatery.

Food was fresh, hot and perfect. I was only disappointed when I ordered 6 buttermilk biscuits to go and shocked when the bill was $23.94 ($3.99) each, plus tax. Won’t make that mistake again! But the service itself and food were fantastic.
