Food was good. Had the fish fry and jerk egg rolls. Only disappointment was it was really smokey in there. I’m assuming from the fryers in the kitchen. We left smelling really bad like fried food. The food was good though and we will visit again.

Just came back from lunch here with some friends! The fried chicken was incredibly flavorful! All the sides were excellent as well! My husband got the meatloaf and he loved it. Most of us left with leftovers because the portions were huge. I wish I got pictures of everyone’s food but everything looked too good we just started eating right away.

I had the curry chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese. My buddy got the brothers chicken sandwich. Everything was great, the chicken sandwich was double stacked and I almost couldn’t finish the large serving of curry. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Buffalo.

First time visiting this restaurant & bar. I was just ordering take out food to get to my hotel room, but the atmosphere was chill. The bar area was nice and patrons was vibing to nice music. When I entered the door I was greeted by Nicole and Kanada? Who helped to guide me thru the menu options as a first timer. Nice smiles and very helpful and patient. I wish I had time to chill and enjoy the ambiance. Definitely, next time. Oh, the food was banging. Homemade smothered Turkey wings over rice, mac& cheese, cabbage, candied yams (not outta the can) , and banana pudding that actually had enough cookies in it . Great experience and the food was reasonably priced. #HiddenGem.

This spot is a definite spot in Buffalo to hit up! It’s clean and spacious. The menu is great if you want comfort food. We were a party of 8 so we each had a bit of everything but we started with the appetizers (no pics tho) of the Buffalo chicken dip (yum), jerk chicken nachos (slapping) and the jerk chicken egg rolls with a sweet chutney sauce (good also)! Our server was great…showed patience and was pleasant. Came and checked on us periodically and kept our “Logan berry” glasses full! Lol! (Sorry I totally forgot her name but she was a sweetheart) The oxtails we’re kind of too big for my taste but seasoned well, the cabbage could have been less spicy and the greens just missed the mark for us! The yams were great I will say tho because a lot of places mess those up on a daily but not here! YES! The ones who had fried chicken enjoyed it immensely and the seafood platter seemed to be a bit with the person who ordered that as well! Overall we had a good time and the food was good! Will definitely make my way there again when back in town!

Was in the mood for some good food. Heard a lot of good things about this place. Stopped by for dinner with my girls. For starters, we ordered a platter with egg rolls and chicken fingers. I absolutely fell in love with the soul egg rolls. Taste like a soul food Thanksgiving dinner all in one bite . I had the honor of ordering the oxtail dinner with cabbage and yams. That also was very good. I would must definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat some food that is satisfying to the soul.
