Exceptional BBQ. The meat was perfect and their sides were amazing. Their homemade bbq sauces are theft-worthy. As a bonus, there is a nice playground in the back and they offer a military discount. Totally coming back

Great place for a BBQ joint it’s looks like an old barn. I always order the holy trifecta Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage. Customer service great! When they brought the food out there was only Brisket and Ribs. Seeing there was a mistake they quickly rectified it by bringing the sausage. Of course I offered to pay but said the sausage was on the house. I’m glad they did bring the sausage, it was not the best I’ve had but great smoke flavor and good texture. That’s where the good review ends. I ordered moist Brisket and it wasn’t moist and there wasn’t a hint of smoke. The same is to be said about the Ribs. They smoke with Mesquite and Oak…wish I could have tasted the smoke infusion like i did with Sausage. Place gets great reviews but for me it gets a 3 star.

My wife and me drove from Katy to San Antonio just to eat this great bbq , and it was the same good tasty , tender and great flavor on all the 3 meats and sides we order .

Staff was nice but that was the only thing good. The food was terrible. We had chicken and brisket and both were cold and very, very dry. The BBQ sauce helped some but meats and sauce had little flavor. Cole slaw was terrible and the potato salad I could buy at the grocery store. Don’t bother with this place- too many other BBQ joints around that are much, much better.

I’m sitting here right now and couldn’t wait to write a review. This has been some of the best food I’ve ever had from the brisket, sausage, and ribs to the amazing sides. All of it was GREAT!! Also, the people were friendly and the owner even came and talked to us! They all made us feel right at home! I can’t wait to come back!!

We got the Big Brown Meal for our family and had plenty of leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. All the meat in the meal was excellent. We had chicken, ribs, brisket, and sausage. We chose baked beans, green beans, and cream corn as our sides. I especially liked the corn. Our three-year-old normally won’t touch green beans but shocked us by saying how yummy they were and devouring more than the required one beans. Service was friendly and helpful. Our kids also loved the playground. There were so many play options on it. It is definitely worth visiting Bracken to go to Brown B Que.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had! Those who say they don’t like it are obviously tainted by fast food (gross) and don’t know good food if it hit them in there face. Will be back soon and have recommended it to all my co workers!! Great job guys! Keep it up!

We had brisket, ribs, sausage, green beans, cream corn, mac and cheese, onions and peppers on the side with an ice tea. None of it was over seasoned or over smoked. It seemed spot on. Good food. Definitely we will be returning. Might be our new “our place” we will see if it is this good next time. Nice decor, play area out back for the kids. One of the few times I have given 5 stars. Thanks.

Didn’t know what to expect when we passed by and decided to give it a shot. The setting is great for a roadside BBQ. We weren’t sure what to order. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable. The most important, the food was great. We liked it so much we went back again before we headed back to NJ.

The food was good. The playground was awesome. The facilities were nice and well-kept. Service was excellent! The atmosphere is how you envision Texas BBQ, but so few places hit the mark. A nice way to end our family outing!
