$8 latte for 16 oz latte? Tastes flavorless. You want us to buy local. I’d buy Starbucks over this price and water flavored coffee any day. At least at Starbucks you get a venti with 3 shots for this price. Outrageous. At least atmosphere is nice. Otherwise, Wouldn’t recommend

Got the cookies and cream granita, but it really just tasted like some good chocolate milk. However, the atmosphere and service were great! The t-shirts they were selling were pretty legit too.

Unfortunately, I was super disappointed. Not only with the price, but I ordered a regular iced latte with no flavoring added. I was served basically just milk with a tiny bit of espresso. Then after telling the barista it was too light for me, I asked for an extra shot to darken it a bit – which I then had to pay an extra $3 for. So basically, I paid $9 for the most bland latte I’ve ever had. I had high hopes going to this place as I love trying to new coffee shops in Colorado. However, I learned my lesson and will stick to my favorite ones with rich tasting lattes.

A unique coffee shop. The decor is eclectic and beautiful. The staff were very nice and the smell of breakfast burritos being made were outstanding. A great way to start the day walking around beautiful downtown Salida.

So charming! Unfortunately, our Amricanos didn’t taste like much because the water they used was scorching hot. Our chorizo burrito was still cold in the middle but damn, it was tasty!

The food here was delicious but the service made me feel unwelcome and that I was a burden for ordering coffee. The coffee was also mainly milk and had hardly any coffee. The atmosphere was really nice and I would have bought merchandise if the server wasn’t so rude. It was an unfortunate experience and I’m not sure I’ll be back due to the service.

A quaint coffee shop in the middle of downtown Salida. It seemed to be popular with the locals. Be aware that no coffee shop is open at 6AM in downtown Salida. Brown Dog opened at 7AM. The people are friendly and the coffee was very good. I didn’t eat any, but the trays of sweets on the counter looked like they would be great. I was tempted, but managed to resist. The prices were reasonable. Being in downtown Salida in the summer means that tables set up in the blocked off street in front of the shop were available. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and had some really good coffee at a reasonable price.

This is a nice little coffee shop serving homemade pastries, a limited assortment of hot sandwiches and some ice cream. Order at the counter, eat in or take out. No table service.
