Excellent BBQ! Great service. I will return.

this is the most outrageous, heartbreaking excuse for barbecue that I have ever had the misfortune to experience. I have had chicken grilled on a gas stove with more smoky flavor than this joke. The fries were partially cooked, the Texas toast was burnt, and I’m not convinced the smoker the owner was talking about even exists, given the state of the meats. I feel genuinely sorry for those who think this is great barbecue.

We had high hopes, but this was truly bad. The chicken was grilled, not barbecued, and very dry. The pork had no smoke flavor. The sides were just sad, down to the burnt Texas toast. We’ve had barbecue from Memphis to Kansas City and this is 1 of the 2 worst BBQ places we’ve eaten. Our efforts at home are 10 times better. Don’t waste your time or money – we waited an hour and spent over $50 to leave hungry. Best thing was the people were nice.

Absolutely dismal. This isn’t real food. I had to douse the “BBQ chicken” (which was just a grilled chicken breast), with BBQ sauce and slaw to make it moist enough to go down. The fries were practically raw and unsalted. The “Texas toast” was a piece of slightly burnt toast. Everything was lukewarm, tasteless, and dry. I ate snacks at the gas station afterward because I was still starving. Worst dining experience I’ve had in years.

This is a cute little place to eat. The BBQ pork and ribs are good, but doesn’t have enough smoke flavor for me. The BBQ nachos were good too. The staff were friendly.

For my first time there I could not make up my mind so I got a pulled pork sandwich and their seafood special of the day .The food was very good and the side dishes were excellent. Be sure to save room for dessert …the strawberry pie was delicious. Lynn, the owner, even set me up with a special “doggy bag” for my 1 and a half year old Lab . We saved it in our GPS we will definitely visit again!!!

I love everything about this place from the rolls of paper towels on the tables to the soda glasses as big as your head. We shared three dinners: pork barbecue, two-piece catfish and 4 pork ribs. The pork BBQ is delicious loose meat. The catfish was wonderfully cooked in a light cornmeal breading. The huge ribs were perfectly done and tasted best with the rib sauce on the table. Other sauces on the table include tartar, mild and hot sauce, which was the best. The restaurant and restrooms were cleanand the owners/staff were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately did not have room for one of the six homemade pies offered for dessert.

The ribs taste boiled and there was hardly any seasoning on the dry ribs. They were also very tough. Sauce tasted like straight vinegar. My wife has an issue with her dinner, and after that, we were ignored like we had the plague and were not waited on again. Wait staff was rude and seemed to be bothered that we had an issue
