This place is a staple in Brownsville. With over 40 years of service IT service authentic food. Not commercialized food like you get at home. If you’re looking for some upscale type restaurant this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for her earthy down-home goodness this is the place you’ll like. Speaking Spanish is a plus here.

Prices are good Didn’t like the salsa The Flour tortillas within a minute that was brought to us it got really hard and did not taste good I asked for decaf but the coffee was very strong And they don’t have splenda No milk Beans were good The duce was ok too Side of eggs were not cooked how I wanted them and too much oil

The food is ok, but the old lady at the registered was very rude. The credit card machine was not working and a sign was posted in Spanish only. I told the lady not everyone understands how to read Spanish. Her response was there going to have to understand. All the open tables were dirty. When they finely cleaned a table I took a seat. And I could hear the old lady telling a coworker that I couldn’t speak Español and laughing at me. So I just left and went somewhere else to for dinner… Very poor behavior from the cashier lady…
