Small country kitchen serving up some great food. I had the Western omelet and it was stuffed with fresh goodness and my wife had the fried chicken with gravy. Both were delicious. If you are passing Stanton and looking for some good food. Here you go. Not far from Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge.

We were headed home from camping at RRG. We had some time so we looked up restaurants and found this one. It was everything I expected from a country dinner. My husband and son both had fried pork tenderloin sandwiches. My fav is roast beef slathered in gravy. I asked for fries they added it to the dish with the mashed potatoes! It was delish! I wanted to kiss the cook!

This feels like a worn-down American diner, definitely not as well known as the tourist spots like Miguel’s Pizza, but certainly not bad. If you’re craving a good burger, this place hits the spot.

Awesome service and amazing food. Every town needs a little place like this. Daily specials. When traveling we try to hit up local restaurants and not chain fast food. Service was fast and friendly. Double cheeseburgers are huge. Great prices too. I can’t say enough.

Good, old-fashioned, country food. If you want to feel like you’re eating in Granny’s kitchen then this is the place for you. I love their pies!

The food was good but average for a mom and pop place. The portions were fair. The service on the other hand was the downfall of our visit. After sitting for 15 mins, I asked a waitress if we could order. Big mistake on my part because everyone at our table got their food and I sat there waiting ten minutes watching my friends eat. Then the waitress took everyones plates but mine when we were finished. Vindictiveness is not good for your tips. If you’re from out of town take your money elsewhere.

This is a tiny place where the waitress is sweet and kind and calls you honey. We got here at 1115 and we’re happy to find they serve all day breakfast. I ordered two biscuits gravy and home fries. My husband ordered the 2 eggs hash browns and bacon. I got sweet tea he got Pepsi. The lunch crowd came in and they had 3 or 4 specials and blueberry pie. Gravy was rich and tasted of bacon and sausage grease, the grits were perfect, the biscuits were hand cut flaky and tasted amazing

If you love a greasy spoon diner, this is a good place to stop. Great service, great food. Don’t stop here if you are looking for “gourmet”. This is home style cooking. Basics done well. The interior is as expected for a much beloved local diner. One star off because it was hard to find a parking spot (which may very well be a blessing for the owners).
