It is an enjoyable place to get dinner. Service is quick, and portions are a very nice size. Generally, when I go to new places, I always make it a point to try the fried calamari. This night, on the specials menu, was a Thai Fried Calamari appetizer which is topped with sweet chili sauce, scallions, and toasted sesame seeds. A decent size plate too. It was really good! I would definitely order it again. Main entrees this evening were Chicken Pesto, sautéed chicken breast, grape tomatoes in a light pesto sauce served over rigatoni(my choice of pasta). Other entrees were Broccoli Cavatelli, sautéed broccoli in garlic and oil mixed in with Cavalli pasta and a meat lasagna. All had high marks. The cheese on the meat lasagna seemed overly salty, but generally, it was a pretty decent dish.

I’m from out of town and came here by a friend’s recommendation. It did not disappoint! Best rice balls with vodka sauce I ever had. The sicilian pie was phenomenal and broccoli rabe was very good. The service was great and I felt very respected and welcomed by the staff. Will definitely come again next time I’m in the neighborhood.

The last time I was there, they totally messed up my order. I ordered a sausage with peppers and onions sandwich, just that, nothing else on it. I expected just that; just a simple as ordered sandwich. Instead, what do they do? Well, they put the sandwich together with the sausage, peppers, and onions, all right, and then they ruined it by putting tomato sauce on it, in spite of the specificity of my order. It was a good thing I caught them. Otherwise it would have been a gastronomical disaster for me. Where I was raised, a good Italian sausage doesn’t need any kind of condiments on it. It should be good enough as is. I had to make them cook up a completely new sandwich. It was a total waste of my time. And to boot, the sandwich wasn’t that good either. Not satisfied at all.

Ordered a baked ziti with grilled chicken and they actually forgot the pasta… this is literally just sauce and grilled chicken. Not a single pasta in the dish. At least the pizza slice was good.

Square slice anyone? Love love love Bruno’s square pies. The pie is huge and absolutely loaded with love. The chef’s here are like pizza guru’s . They have been making pizza pies for a hundred years and know exactly how to make the perfect pie.

The Sicilian, or Square pizza etc is still one of the best around. BUT, today when I picked up my Pizza and came home it was so undercooked it was like picking up a WET SPONGE!! Luckily, I put it in the oven at 425 minutes for 4 minutes and the pie came out perfect. I am still giving it 4 stars because the ingredients and pizza is normally excellent. Hopefully, the owner will read this and fix this from happening again. Other reviews said the same exact thing !!
