Small town bar and grill. At 5:50 pm on a Saturday they were out of ribs and smoked turkey (I hope that means they sold a ton of them earlier). We all ordered the special, pulled pork and brisket. It took over a half hour for our order to arrive. The only thing that had to be cooked was one order of tator tots. Pulled pork was pretty good. Brisket was dry and lukewarm. Beans came from a can but had pretty good flavor.

Great food, friendly people and finger lickin good, BBQ! I had the sliced brisket with potato salad. The meat was so tender, and lean with the perfect smoked flavor. Add a little Bbq sauce, and whoo wee! My husband had a burger. He said it was one of the best he’s had. His fries looked so good, he offered me one and of course I had a few. It isn’t fancy, uptight dining. So if you are looking for cloth napkins, and quiet dining than this place isn’t for you. However, if you like music, pool, or conversations with diners & the Thirsty Pig servers than come on in, the beer is cold. Do yourselves a favor and make sure you order the fries! 🙂

Oh my gosh. What a surprise. Probably the best BBQ I’ve had. Better than any joint in KC. For $12 I got a box of ribs, potato salad, bread, pickle and sauce. Lots of food. Downtown Lyndon just 8 miles from me. What a surprise. We are going back soon. Ribs were very meaty and tasty.

We loved this place and we enjoyed the meal. Outstanding atmosphere and great service. I highly recommend giving this place a try. The only little complaint that I have is that I didn’t get enough bbq sauce.

Really good as always. Love the sausage and brisket sandwich. Family had the pork and sausage. Another got a burger and the burger was surprisingly really good!! One server always works her tail off! See you again when we come to the lake!

The food was good but had very bad service. Sat for almost 30 minutes before anyone even came to the table and then it was to ask us to wait some more. Didnt even take our drink order or leave a menu. When the rest of our party arrived we still had to wait before getting to order and it took a while to get our food. I wouldnt recommend them for their customer service. We wont be returning.
