First time in this location. Had to wait for about 20 minutes till we finally get our table. While waiting for the food, there are these 2 guys that came to our table and gave us a quick Forrest Gump movie trivia. Other tables would join in to shout the answers too. It was fun as we never had that experience before and it made the time flew by faster. Not long after that, our Jambalaya and the shrimp scampi arrived, however the Jambalaya was on the salty side for us so we had it replaced with shrimp creole and it was spot on. The shrimp scampi was very oily so if you don’t like it, tell them otherwise or other something else. When you had a full day in the park and just want food, we love coming here. Lovely service, great atmosphere, always my go to when in Universal Studios park.

Marissa was amazing! She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She made great recommendations for our meal. We all ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was delicious. She also made recommendations for things for us to do in the area while we are in town. Her pleasant personality and kind spirit did not go unnoticed. We also really enjoyed the Forest Gump Trivia questions she had for us. Great job Marissa!

My whole family enjoyed the food. The kids got Mac and cheese and some popcorn shrimp and I had the shrimp feast. My wife doesn’t like seafood so she got the momma’s chicken. It was surprisingly good. We tried the sampler platter and my kids tore through that too.

Food was decent, a little overpriced for the portion sizes, but it was still delicious, and the staff was friendly enough for a good time. It was a little rough around the edges, but I feel that’s part of the experience. The seafood basket appetizer was great, with spicy broth loaded with clams, muscles, and shrimp. If I go again, I would skip the snow crab, a very small portion for the added price. The best bet seems to be to stick with the shrimp meals that are packed to the brim (makes sense for a shrimp house).

We have been at Universal in Orlando for a week, on our last night we went to Bubba’s for supper. 1.) why did we wait for the last night? It was the best meal we had! And this kid meal boat box… and the kids souvenir cups!!! Such a hit with the little!! 2.) Chelsea! Ask for Chelsea!! This girl does a phenomenal job. Before we left we made sure to tell her that she was the best waitress we had our entire trip! (Think about it… that would be 14 waitresses we have had this week) 3.) Brush up on your Forrest Gump Trivia. The trivia game had us all smiling.

I have always wanted to eat at Bubba Gump’s and I was not disappointed! The food was good, the service was great and our server, Liv was phenomenal! I just wish there was one closer to where we live in New Hampshire. The pic of the server is Liv but I was taking a picture if the back of her shirt, not of her per se.
