All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. First we wanted to sit outside and then our daughter was complaining about the heat, so we moved inside. Our waitress was fast and efficient. Our food came out faster than expected because the restaurant was almost full, we had expectedlong delay, but nope. Our food and drinks were top notch. We chose drinks that had take home souvenir glasses. The waitress kept drinks coming and refilling waters and sodas. I would highly recommend

Jose, Sara, and T were absolutely wonderful. Each of them had amazing customer service skills that made my experience 10x better. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, in Galveston has an upstairs and downstairs so check both out when deciding where to enjoy their delicious food. I had a Salad with a boiled egg and coconut shrimp. Listen, I have been looking for a place to top the last Coconut Shrimp I had and in my first bite I was shocked by how scrumptiously delicious it was. 100/10 What made my experience perfect was the view of the ocean. I loved it so much. I can’t wait to be back again.

I was able to make reservations ahead of time so we had no wait time. Food was DELICIOUS! We got a table right in front of the windows and it was super hot. But they were able to move us. Customer service was awesome! Oh and I forgot to say considering how packed it was, food came out pretty fast and piping hot! So we had a great meal. Overall I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and would go back. Ty for treating us with care.

Eren, thank you so much for your amazing customer service. I have never had a waiter come to my table and asked me and my group of people I need trivia questions. Yes the trivia questions are about Forrest Gump movie, which we should have study up on before coming to the restaurant since Bubba Gump shrimp and Co. is derived from the Forrest Gump movie. Thank you for making sure our food and drinks were delivered correctly and for always making sure our cups stayed full.

The place isn’t bad overall. It’s very loud and the getting the food is pretty slow. However, the food does taste really good, and my whole family liked it. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and I personally rate it a 7.5. It tasted really good, including the fries and sauce, but there were more bread on the sandwich than the chicken itself which I thought was a major con. But overall, it’s not a bad place, just very noisy and getting your food is quite slow.

Good Forrest Gump themed shrimp place. I didn’t know it was Forrest Gump themed before I visited it, but given the name, I should have guessed. Despite its movie roots, it can stand on its own two feet with genuinely good shrimp. We got the shrimp heaven combination platter with beer battered shrimp, coconut shrimp, and tempura shrimp and also a shrimp scampi and both were very good. The water and air conditioning were both cool and refreshing and the staff were helpful when we seemed confused (which we initially were because of all the Forrest Gump themed items). The view of the ocean from the upstairs dining room is a nice plus.

It’s not the same food from 2 years ago. But you can’t beat the view. Every time we go to Galveston, we have to go to Bubba Gumps. I understand that it is more of a show than top cuisine. It’s a great place for a small party and relaxing to sit on the balcony overlooking the beach, day or night. The service is okay. I feel that if the server dont know you, feel comfortable with you, or thinks you will not tip well, you won’t get good service. The food is mediocre at best but nostalgic. You get a hit at what we think is from the movie and what could have been served back in the day.

First timer going to Bubba Gump, and I must say it’s a very popular crowded area. Took 19 minutes to be seat a family of 3. Didn’t mind the wait. They have an open bar outside (includes kid friendly drinks as well) perfect for a hot weather. We selected an outside table, and it has an amazing view. Our food was tasteful as well, but the wait was at least close to an hour && half. Kids cheese burger, my nephew approves , my husband chicken tenders, little to much seasoning BUT it balances it out with the gravy/ranch giving in the basket && as for me, I got the Forrest surf && turf- Boneless Ribeye, grilled Shrimp, Mash potatoes && Broccoli. The ribeye was good but mixed with mash potatoes it was very great ! Was disappointed in the grilled shrimp very plain && dry, I never received my broccoli in the dish. Overall, 8/10 I would go back and try different dishes. They are things that I loved about the restaurant i would personally go back. Sadly, I didn’t take a picture of the food, but I did get a picture of the view outside.
