I was excited to try this restaurant but I wasn’t too happy with my experience. I ordered Jenny’s Surf & Turf, a cup of Gumbo & a Corona Rita. The gumbo was not hot. The shrimp was cold and broccoli on the surf & turf was undercooked. The Corona Rita was so watered down all I tasted was the beer. No complaints on the waitress, she was busy waiting so many tables but she tried to be as attentive as she could. The little trivia questions at the end was fun but that’s not what you’re there for. For the price of the food I feel it should be way better than mediocre. I should have known something was off when I found out they don’t serve oysters. Anyway the best part to me was sitting on the patio and watching all the boats go by. Needless to say I will not be returning or trying any other location. I love the movie Forrest Gump but can’t say the same for the restaurant!

I ate here a long time ago and thought it would be great to go back for my bf birthday experience. I was kinda taken back when the food was not up to par. The food came out cold and gummy. Service was ok. It was busy so it was a bit of a wait. The drinks were not good at all. Had to send a drink back bc it tasted like a pound of salt. The rest of the food was bland, no seasoning, which was highly disappointing. I can’t say I’d go back to this location.

The aesthetic here is awesome. It has a very obvious Forrest Gump theme. There’s a few seating options, but if you want to sit inside you’ll have to wait a little bit if you’re not early. The service was friendly and very helpful. The only negative would be that the food does take a little bit before getting to you. Nonetheless, the food was delicious and the presentation was great. After a delicious meal you can always walk around a corner and visit a gift shop if you so please.

The coconut shrimps are amazing!! Highly recommended! Besides the food, I think the service was great. We were seated by the window with a really nice view of the waters by a friendly staff who gave us food recommendations and patiently waited for us to decide.

This was my first time ever eating at Bubba Gumps , I do think in their merchandise store or gift shop.. there should be something with the black guy bubba from forest Gump on tshirts or something (just my opinion and observation). The staff is amazing and very friendly, any watier or waitress I ask never told me let me get the person who has your table. They assisted me with great smiles and customer service. extremely hot outside but it was a beautiful Sunday. I really enjoyed myself. Jambalaya isn’t good no flavor or seasoning(I wouldn’t recommend this dish). I had the surf n turf it was great and those mash potatoes was life.

Good family ambience, indoor or outdoor dining along boardwalk with walking access to boat tours, carnival rides & games, & hotel. The burger, seafood & shrimp linguine are good, appetizer of coconut shrimp & spinach dip is good for sharing. We found out monday is a slow day, most restaurants are close, free parking.

I forgot our server’s name but she was a college student and it was her last day until holiday break but she was fantastic The food was flavorful I got the mahi with shrimp and substituted the bourbon sauce for their lobster sauce and I’m still thinking about it It was delicious. My husband had the appetizer Tower as his meal he loved it. My dad had salmon and he said it was cooked very well and flavorful, I believe the name of the dish my mom had was shrimp New Orleans or something like that but it was also super tasty. No one had any complaints with their food. The atmosphere was cool and pleasant l,Will definitely be back again

The food options are great. However we waited over 20min for someone to take our order. Another 30min to get our food. Food presentation looked decent. However Shrimp was cold had to be send back. Food order was not right for some members of family. For a restaurant who deals with most tourist not good customer service. Had to get up to get refills on our drinks.
