Great addition to Brownsville! We had the Bubba’s nachos, bacon burger, grilled chicken, and kids’ Mac at our table and all was absolutely delicious. Our server Francisco was top notch and the music was great. The reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is only because of the 2 male managers Ruben and Jesus (we asked their names) were so serious that they made me uncomfortable. Obviously their job is to watch and make sure all is running smoothly, but they just looked like bouncers at a club. Throw a smile on your face…you’re in customer service! The female manager w avocado earrings had a great vibe and was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back, I just hope it’s not on Ruben and Jesus’s shifts.

There was no wait to be seated eventhough it seemed packed. The service was excellent. The meaty pizza was delicious. The crust was perfectly toasted. The philly sandwich an fries was also very good. The fries were got and very well seasoned. The only drawback was that it was pretty loud because of the open space setup. Come try it out!

I Was really excited to try Bubbas but was let down. I did do carry out, so service I am unsure of but the lasagna, onion rings, and fries from my burger were really salty. Honestly the only the that we finished eating was just the guacamole burger which was good and only ate half of the wings. Honestly not going back and I am confused since the founder is the same founder and CEO of Texas Roadhouse

First time visiting in Brownsville Texas. Had about a 12 minute wait. We were greeted immediately after we got our mobile notification that our table was ready. Our server greeted us as soon as we sat down and took our drink order. Took him a minute to get back but I saw him trying to be efficient. I noticed he served drinks for 3 tables at one time and got everyone squared away. Then he went back and took everyone’s order in the order we came in. Total dining visit was an hour from the time we sat, ordered, got our food and left. Through out the entire time we we’re visited constantly to make sure all was well and our drinks never went empty. We had all sorts of individuals visited our table from management to the bus person. Customer service was excellent. Food came in and as well was terrific. There were several of us dining in celebration of the wife’s bday. Everyone’s food came out as requested and was absolutely delicious. Except for mine, as usual. I ordered a Southern fried chicken, gravy on the side, topped with blue and bacon sauce, mash and tots for my sides. Well it came with the gravy on the side but no sauce( this was an add on being advertised on the menu) . I went ahead and cancelled the sauce and just ate it like that. White gravy was a little too sweet for my preference and the breading on the chicken was perfect but a tad too salty. Everyone else said their food was good. Son had a 14oz ribeye, delicious. Wife had a shroom burger with onion rings, daughter had a hot and spicy chicken sandwich, sons friend had the bacon chicken avocado sandwich. We will definitely be back. Oh we started the meal with an appetizer, poblano spinach dip. That’s the dish with garlic breads in it and chips. Absolutely delicious!!!The service was excellent. Food was fantastic. I would have given 5 stars but they didn’t get my order as requested and they made us wait outside to be seated. It was noon and hot as sh!t. We were initially in the lobby and the hostess said management wanted everyone to wait outside. I get it they didn’t have a lot of room in the lobby but, they didn’t treat everyone the same. Some people were allowed to stay waiting outside. I get rules are rules but let’s enforce them all across the board. Exceptions would be disabled and elderly but everyone else…..it is what it is.

Both the burger and chipotle pasta were quite tasty. I liked that the burger was not overdone. The fries tastes more like fried dough than potatoes, quite good though. The chipotle pasta was abundant enough for two feedings. Place was pretty noisy kinda like rodehouse, which i don’t like. I would come back and try more things. Better than Parrys.

My family and I were so excited to try Bubba’s! There was practically no wait, and the staff was very friendly. Diego, one of the on-site managers, checked in on us and expressed kind greetings. Our waiter, I can’t remember his name, was fast and offered great service. We got an order of their mozzarella sticks, one large pepperoni pizza, Buffalo wings, and the chicken tender meal. Everything was great, but the wings could have been more crispy. Overall, the experience was great, and the food was good! I definitely recommend it.

Had the bacon cheese burger and it was good. Very filling. It was under the warm side when I received it. They took long to bring the food so I’m guessing it was just sitting there. The Cajun pasta was a bit more like Mac and cheese and not spicy at all.
