This was our first time trying Bubba’s and we were so looking forward to it! I have to say customer service was very nice. Kind people and served with a smile. The food however was not up to par. The boudin balls were not balls and I don’t know if it was cooked in old grease but it was not that pleasant. My husband couldn’t even finish his fish plate. The fries were not fresh and the chicken platter I had was double fried so it was hard. None of the food we ordered was finished and I hate to say it, but, I don’t think we will return to another Bubba’s. I couldn’t really speak on the atmosphere because we sat in the car and waited for the order.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! They have great prices and we were able to feed two adults, one toddler, and an infant for under $30. You can’t beat that. Plus did I mention that the food was amazing? We had a sampler and got catfish, fried crawfish tails, fried shrimp, French fries and coleslaw. We added a side order or beans (which were fantastic) and fried okra. The owner (?) even gave us a sample of the boiled shrimp which were cooked perfectly. If you are debating going here don’t. Just go.

When you want really good fried catfish in Hot Springs there’s no better place than Bubba’s. There are 2 locations and both have the same overall menu. All catfish is farm raised, clean and fresh. Nothing fishy about it. Breading is a traditional Louisiana cornmeal style that fries up crispy and pairs well with the flaky catfish. We also had a side of double crispy fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, and some fabulous coconut fried shrimp. What a superb treat! If you like a good southern fried catfish you cannot do better than Bubba’s!

A great BIG “Thank You” to Stephen for catering our 102 Family Reunion!! We are a fish eating family and the compliments are still coming in weeks later to me. He setup at our site and took care of everything from food, plates and drinks. I Definitely recommend Bubba’s Catfish for a group gathering or, just drop by his place off Carpenter Dam Rd.. We have never been disappointed .

Their service was tuff, it was hard for them to put a smile on their face for a copper skin aboriginal, trying to make conversation about thier food with them was an absolutely no! I asked about their award winning sauce like it suggested on the sign and the guy says, ” I don’t even know why it’s there” …. the fish was okay only because it was cooked all the way, it was not the best, it had no seasoning and they cut the fish in half and said it was 3 pieces of fish when it was really 1 whole fish and a half! Who does that! My money wasn’t cut in half!!! My experience here was not at ALL welcoming, should have saved my money and went somewhere else. If you are copper skin and these people treat you with no respect WALK away! Don’t waste your hard earned money which IS your time you put in at your job. I wasted HOURS OF MY JOB with this Bubba’s Catfish & Seafood company with the amount that I paid AND they Stole half of my meal! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH Bubba’s Catfish & Seafood or they will steal half of your meal too!!!

Literally the best fried catfish and shrimp we’ve ever had. Tiny little place, mostly drive up. It wasn’t exactly cheap but food was great, and the staff was really nice. Dont expect a big place, if you want to eat there, there is like 3 tables. Decorations on the walls are nice and place is clean.
