This is one of our favorites! The kids love the “beach.” The everyone loves the food! I’ve never seen it super crowded. If you go on a nice day they’ll likely have the doors rolled up and it makes it really easy to watch the kids play while waiting for the food. Feel free to bring beach toys but there are usually some there.

Great view of the bay, while you dine ….boaters, check depth of boat basin while entering, can be shallow during low tide….

The food here tastes horrible. The wait staff is inattentive and more concerned with their gossip than actually serving their customers. I got oysters and they tasted rotten like they had been left out. My steak was over cooked and it took me 25 minutes to get the attention of a waiter. People mostly go here for the cheap shrimp deal, but you shouldn’t even go for that. Their food service grade is low and I wouldn’t trust them to properly cool shrimp, which is a notorious food borne illness causer. Stay Away!!!!!

The worst experience ever in a restaurant! In a nearly empty restaurant (which was always packed previously) it took us an hour and a half to get food – in stages. We have been coming to this restaurant for years for the good food and service, so we brought family from out of town. When I asked to speak to the manager she said they were under new management and gave every excuse in the book – the computer was down so they couldn’t process the orders, only 2 of 4 cooks showed up for work, the Margarita machine was broken, etc. Not the customer’s problem! To compensate for the poor service she comped one meal (out of 12) that was sent back because it was too greasy! We made a reservation mid afternoon and they even called back to confirm, so there was no excuse; there were only about half a dozen other people in the restaurant. Our server, Cam, however, tried his best. He was very attentive and pleasant. That’s the only good thing I have to say about Bubba’s. We spent over $300 for an unpleasant experience! We won’t go back.

This place has gone down hill tremoundously. Poor quality of food and even got our order wrong the first time around. When brought back with the correct order the food was not purged and the taste of dirt and sand was prominent. It seemed as though they tried to cover up the taste with more layers of breading on the outside of the oysters. The wait to be seated in this nearly empty restaurant was over an hour for some people and we even saw 1 table who drove their boat up to enjoy a nice meal, had to leave as soon as they received their food due to it becoming dark and they had to drive their family back on the water. This family had been waiting over 2 hours for their food and did not even get the chance to eat. The wait staff was doing all they could, but just wasn’t cutting it. It seemed as if they were very understaffed as well. I would save your time and money and go anywhere but here.

Discovered Bubba’s about a year ago…have eaten there about 6 or 7 times since. Have enjoyed every meal…mostly take advantage of the Monday special for the “All you can eat shrimp” for 10 bucks. This past week we ate there on my birthday (mine was free)…but my mother (age 94) got the Salmon (grilled) and it was superb. She is very fussy and it pleased her to no end. Huge fillet, thick, well seasoned, cooked perfect. Also tried both of the new sides…corn on the cob and Au Gratin potatoes…they were fine. Have always had great wait staff, good view…sometimes very busy and things are a bit slow…but look out at the water and have a cold one. We will be back many times in the future.

1 star only because have to give one to leave a review. Don’t waste your time or money. This place is a joke. It’s supposed to be all you can eat yet we only saw our server to order food and then bring it one time we never saw her again Christine’s cup was empty after her first bite of food and stayed that way. Honestly I understand a kitchen being behind because you have multiple parties in a restaurant I really do but when you make eye contact with your server and they don’t come to you that’s a problem. I should have taken the hint when I watched two different sets of people walk out of that restaurant because they weren’t getting service. And then the server wants to come and apologize while you’re speaking to the manager like really you’re lucky I have some kind of self-control and didn’t go off on you. So now I have to stop at some fast food restaurant to feed my daughter because apparently it couldn’t happen while actually at a restaurant. This will be the last time I go to this so called restaurant.

Went to this place once before. Great deals… Decided to bring a group of friends on Memorial day for a good meal. Turns out they price gouge on holidays. Nowhere in the menu does it say holiday exclusions. And the manager wasent very friendly on our discussion. The manager was very smug on our complaint and kinda of laughed it off. We had a table that would have easily spent a 100$ had it had not been a holiday. This was a very big disappointment especially on a holiday that dedicates itself to the fallen veterans that defend out freedom. I will never go here again

Ate there Friday. Had to go get cash because their credit/debit card machine was broken. That should have been our first clue.

The service was slow. The salad bar empty of everything except lettuce. The fried shrimp were overcooked and hard to chew. Saw the waitress for first order, took 30 minutes to get main course delivered. Had no tartar sauce, said they were out of cocktail sauce, asked for ketchup (same thing). Asked for more shrimp (all you can eat), took almost an hour to get them. Poor service, poor meal. We won’t be back.
