WOW!! This may be the BEST smokehouse bbq I’ve had!! The lovely young girl behind the counter was super nice, and suggested the beef rib since it was “Beef Rib Saturday!!” So I ordered it.. AND OMG, it’s one of, if not THE best thing I’ve ever eaten!!! It was juicy, tender, super flavorful and enormous!!! .. I could barely eat 1/3 of it. Run, don’t walk to Bubs!! ! Also, their all you can eat side items are homemade and super delicious as well!! My fiancé wanted the recipe for their corn salad, and potato salad.. I could’ve eaten their rice and beans all day!!! Can’t wait to go back to try the smoked wings, who doesn’t like smoked maple bacon wings!! I heard they’re amazing too!

Went there tonight with my boys who grew up eating Bub’s, they’re now 32 & 33 & wanted to share the experience with my 12 yr. old grandson. Very disappointed, this is not the same Bub’s at all.Everything was different, except the free jukebox. No kielbasa, they had a cranberry sausage, the ribs were definitely not baby back & were so charred & fatty, we used to eat them down to the bone. The pulled pork had no flavor, & the bread it was served on was super greasy. The soda fountain is gone, canned soda, no cup with ice even. I asked about the vegetable soup & Italian bread, if they were bringing it back & response was they make it once in awhile, but they had a gumbo soup. 1/2 the sides were missing, no French fries & what they had tasted really bad. I’m sorry to say, but Bub’s is now just a great memory for my sons & a bad eating experience for my grandson.If you call my asking for a takeout tray for my dog for the leftover ribs and not responding to the ? how was the meal, then yes I am guilty, otherwise no response or yelling as you say came from any of our party, I’m sorry you can’t take a critical review.

Bub’s BBQ catered my husband and I’s wedding and we along with our guests could not get enough of their buffet! Second helpings were devoured by multiple guests, and all of the UMass alumni were so excited to see the Bub’s truck at the venue. The people were sweethearts. Unlimited sides was a bonus but they were just okay. Ribs were pretty good, brisket was dry and stringy, kielbasa was pretty good, hush puppies were delicious but very greasy. House BBQ sauce was okay, better when punched up with hot sauce.

I ordered “baby back ribs” same as I have I. The past. These were bad. They looked more like beef and tasted “off”. I didn’t eat them. The sides were horrible. Potatoes were mushy and the sweet potatoes had no crunch on top, no french fries…whats up with that? The dill salad was “dill and lots of it” Bring back the soda machine. I miss the Ol’ Bub’s.
