A short detour off the Natchez Trace is this awesome little diner. Great food! Hubby had the fried catfish, he really liked the light, flaky breading & we both loved the sweet potato tots. My Philly Cheesesteak was not your average sandwich! The meat was shredded & very flavorful. We got some chocolate cobbler to go & it was sooo good! The food is cooked fresh so don’t get in a hurry. Our server was so sweet, & we enjoyed great conversation with her. It’s obvious that they do a brisk take out business as well. Prices are quite reasonable. And the name of the restaurant is BUCKETS, for some reason Google doesn’t want to accept my suggestion, but trust me it’s Buckets not Meme’s Kitchen. Be on the lookout, the location is right but you can easily drive by it. Stop and enjoy!

Hamburger steak was drowning in Dale’s. Everything else was good. Our waitress was friendly and responsive. If you’re looking for a quiet/calm place, this is NOT it. Apparently everyone who eats there, besides us, knows everyone else, besides us, eating there and they yell across the restaurant about Bessie’s foot surgery last week. And, it is very LOUD and near impossible to have a conversation at your own table. In this tiny little town there was a taco truck set up, a convenience store and this place (that we saw). Next time we’ll try the taco truck and hopefully no one will be yelling about Aunt Bessie and ’em.

We had a group of Carpenters for Christ working on building a new church building for Williams Chapel Freewill Baptist in Iron City and the members recommended Bucketts. It was great. Food was great..Steak cooked just right. Great service. Highly recommend.

I got catfish fried in cornmeal only (no flour), which I requested. 3 piece catfish meal with fries and cole slaw (not pictured) to go. Great service and delicious catfish. This a nice stop off on the beautiful Natchez Trace – I stopped at the Wayne County Welcome Center, and he recommended this diner. Highly Recommend.

Quaint southern restaurant serving down home-cooking with great daily specials that will definitely fill any appetite for a very reasonable price! The deserts are home made, come with every special, and I didn’t meet one I didn’t like during my stay in town for business. Meme and staff were all very personable and friendly, food arrives quickly, and disappears just as fast! Definitely my favorite place to eat lunch in Collinwood, TN

The staff was friendly, we got seated when we first walked in for a table of 4, however, after we ordered, we waited an hour for our food, with finally after 35 minutes the waitress came and told us they had lost our ticket. When the food did arrive, it was delicious!!! I’ll try it again simply because the food was great. The service will get better, they are just starting. Very apologetic about the wait.
