Stopped at this place with my dad driving through Jersey with a trailer and it seemed like the perfect place to stop and get a bite (1230 on a Tuesday) and they had people inside eating which seemed fine. Turns out they were closed and everyone in there was a school field trip. No big deal we left and they were nice and all. Just probably should have a sign or something that it’s not a restaurant for the public cause we were confused for a moment. Definitely would try it out if they’re ever open as a real place

The place is a cute neighborhood breakfast and lunch gathering place. I did notice that in the past 8 months or so, the food doesn’t taste the same. The biscuits aren’t as good. I got the steak and gravy, and could not eat it. The breading tasted like cornstarch and was not crispy like before….the biscuit was doughy inside and crumbled on the outside… terrible….I doubt I’ll return.. pricey for the quality….

Used to come in for chicken biscuits pretty regularly because they were the best around, but recently the biscuit seems doughy and the chicken seems like it’s not cooked as well either. It’s a local place, so sometimes the service isn’t up to par for people who aren’t regulars. Depending on the cook, they can’t always give you the specialty pancakes either.

Stopped by for breakfast while in the area and glad I did! Had the breakfast platter; crispy bacon, homemade biscuit, cheese grits with scrambled eggs and coffee. Everything was delicious. If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and check it out.

This place is NOT a hidden gem. Their breakfast items are overpriced for what you’re getting. Biscuits are good. OK place if you’re in no hurry and just want to hang out with the locals. Owner was being lazy and cut me off in the drive thru. Very rude and inconsiderate. I will not be going back!!!

I met a friend here today (Wednesday, Nov.25, 2015) for a Thanksgiving celebration luncheon. We had eaten here several times in the past and always found it to be wonderful! I am not sure what happened today but here is what I got for 10.00. One slice of roast beef and a small chunk of beef (which was all fat except a few strands of beef that I was able to peel off the fat), a scoop of cabbage and a scoop of collard greens, a corn muffin (which had jalapenos in it) and a large glass of tea. Here is what the meal tasted like: the vegetables were cold, I could not eat the muffin due to food allergies (they do not advertise the muffin has jalapenos), and the one slice of roast beef ( I kid you not…… one thin slice of beef and a fatty chunk was swimming in gravy) outside of the quantity was at best lukewarm. The only filling part of the meal was the extra large glass of tea. My friend could not even eat her green beans as they were cold. Let me clarify the only reason I HAD to eat this meal was because I am a diabetic and had taken my insulin. One of the members of the staff came over and asked if everything was Okay. While I was on the phone my friend answered her and listed everything that was wrong with her meal and mine. The lady said that she would mention it to the cook. She did not offer any replacement meat to me or return to speak to me after I ended my call. No offer of refund or even a partial one. Needless to say, we will not be back and I will let everyone know not to eat here as you are wasting alot of good hard earned money on very bad food. We have decided to meet at Blue Willow Inn or Applebee’s that is only fifteen minutes away. It will be worth your time to go there!

The food is great and the people are friendly. My only complaint is about the Drive thru. It’s very slow, like I may as well go inside and order instead of using the Drive thru…however, I’m still giving it five stars because it’s only slow because they cook the food fresh so I think it’s a fair trade off
