We went for the lobster boil and had a great time. The lobster and the items served with it were fantastic! The service through out the meal was the best we have ever had! We never had to wait to have to get more wine, water, food, or have our plates and the discarded lobster shells cleared. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of.

Anniversary dinner at a great supper club. The venue outside is awesome, next to a lake we watched the sunset. The dining room is not so special. We had reservations but were directed into the bar area. Luckily we got a seat at the bar and had time to enjoy two old fashions while we waited to be seated for dinner. Kind of strange to wait 30-45 minutes with reservations … but the drinks were good. We were finally seated, but we got overlooked for a bit. Finally a nice waitress asked if anyone had helped us. We were in no hurry so we took no offense, but somebody missed something. The food was very good but I’ve had better. The Buckhorn might want to up it’s game as to the overall presentation of a special dinner out. Spending $100+ for two, I didn’t quite get the wow factor I was hoping for.

Amazing food, views of lake Koshkonong, beautiful sunsets. What more could you ask for. Prime rib was so thick but tender you almost didn’t need a knife. Halibut well proportioned with a wonderful glaze. French onion soup done right with melted cheese. Waitstaff were wonderful, owners too. It’s a bit hidden and deceiving from the street and front.

What a great supper club. Bar area and old fashioneds were spot on. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for our large group. I don’t eat a whole lot of it so there might be better ones out there but I think was the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Sunsets on the lake never hurt anyone too.

Our first time and we will be back. Great bar. Hanging out in a Wisconsin supper club with great people. Nothing like it.

Wisconsin supper clubs are worth the wait, drive and cost, and The Buckhorn is no exception. Friday fish fry consisted of delicious fried perch, yum. Old fashioned are pretty good, I like mine hand muddled, but when making volume, I understand the need for a mix. Will be back for sure.

A visit to Buckhorn Supper Club is like walking into a time capsule in that it is a traditional old-school supper club. This one is especially nice because it’s right on the lake. The food is consistently great and the service is attentive without being too pushy.

Food was ok but over priced. Atmosphere was good service was good. We had reservations at 6:30 and we had gotten seated and our soup/salad was served at 9:15. There was a group of six of us. When we let them know about our frustration for waiting so long, they did absolutely nothing. We came all the way from Rockford.

I could get better food from Festival and grill it myself. We ate outside and we were waiting forever for food that was terrible. When we got our bill it was 153$ for THREE different things. We got 5 pieces of shrimp for 33$ after we got the bill we waited 20 mins for the waiter to get the bill and let us go. Finally we were charged an extra 5$ for using a credit card on a 153$ bill.
